What the Bulk Email Builder Does
The Bulk Email Builder is the email creation flow that opens when you select contacts in Contacts → Smart Lists and choose Send Email from Bulk Actions.
It supports three email creation options:
Quick Compose
Smart Builder
Select Existing Template
The builder also helps protect deliverability by filtering out recipients who should not receive the email.
Dynamic Contact Labels
The Bulk Email Builder uses the object label configured in the account instead of always displaying “Contact” or “Contacts.” For example, if the account uses labels such as Leads or Clients, the Bulk Email modal may display those labels instead.
This only changes displayed text. Recipient selection, filtering, sending, and reporting behavior do not change.
Recipient Filtering Before Sending
Before sending, Kyrios reviews the selected recipients and shows a confirmation modal.
The modal shows:
Total contacts selected
Contacts filtered out because they are invalid or unsubscribed
Final recipient list that will receive the email
Contacts that are invalid, unsubscribed, or otherwise excluded are not sent the email.
Email Creation Options
The Bulk Email Builder supports three creation options. Quick Compose is best for simple, fast emails.
Smart Builder lets you choose from:
Design Editor
Code Editor
Plain Text Editor
Select Existing Template lets you use a saved email template or template library design.
Additional Email Settings
Additional Settings allow you to control tracking and engagement automation before sending the bulk email.
Available settings may include:
Track Clicks: Tracks clicked links and who clicked them.
UTM Tracking: Adds UTM parameters to campaign links.
Add Tags: Applies tags based on recipient engagement.
Send a Test Email
Use Test Emails before sending the campaign to verify layout, links, copy, and formatting.
To send a test email:
Enter a test email address in the Test Emails field.
Click Send Test Mail.
Review the test email in the recipient inbox.
Return to the builder and make changes if needed.
Review the Campaign Before Sending
Click Review Campaign before sending if you want to open the email campaign editor and review campaign details. Use this step to check the email content, settings, and send configuration before final delivery.
Send Modes
The Bulk Email Builder supports multiple delivery modes.
Send All at Once sends the email immediately to all final recipients.
Send at Scheduled Time sends the email at a selected future date and time.
Send in Drip Mode sends emails gradually in batches.
How to Send a Bulk Email
Go to Contacts → Smart Lists.
Select the contacts or Smart List you want to email.
Click Bulk Actions.
Select Send Email.
Choose Quick Compose, Smart Builder, or Select Existing Template.
Build or select the email content.
Review the recipient confirmation modal.
Send a test email if needed.
Click Review Campaign if you want to review the campaign editor.
Choose a send mode.
Click Send Email.
View Bulk Action Progress
Bulk emails are processed as bulk actions.
To view progress:
Go to Contacts.
Open the Bulk Actions tab.
Find the email action.
Review the status, user, created time, completed time, and statistics.
View Email Campaign Performance
You can also view bulk email campaign performance from Marketing.
Go to Marketing → Emails → Campaigns → Bulk Action Campaigns.
Use this area to view bulk email campaigns alongside other email campaign activity.
Common Issues and Fixes
Some selected contacts did not receive the email
Kyrios automatically excludes invalid, unsubscribed, or restricted recipients before sending. Check the confirmation modal to see how many contacts were filtered out.
The final recipient count is lower than the selected contact count
The selected contact count includes all selected records. The final recipient count only includes recipients eligible to receive the email.
I need to confirm the email before sending
Use Send Test Mail to send a test version. Use Review Campaign to open the campaign editor before sending.
FAQ
Will unsubscribed or invalid contacts receive my email?
No. Kyrios automatically excludes invalid, unsubscribed, or restricted recipients before sending.
Can I use an existing email template?
Yes. Choose Select Existing Template to use a saved template or template library design.
Can I track clicks for bulk emails?
Yes. Enable Track Clicks under Additional Settings before sending.
Can I add tags based on engagement?
Yes. Enable Add Tags under Additional Settings when available.
Are Smart Lists updated again at the scheduled send time?
No. Recipients are captured when the bulk email is scheduled.
