This article is for users who want to design reusable email templates, build email campaigns, and send or automate emails to contacts using Kyrios.
Overview: Email Builder Structure
The Email Builder allows you to create and manage email content inside Kyrios. It includes two distinct sections:
Email Templates: Used to design and store reusable email layouts and branding.
Email Campaigns: Used to add messaging, delivery settings, and send emails to contacts.
Templates control design and layout. Campaigns control recipients and delivery.
Navigating the Email Builder
The Email Builder is located inside Kyrios and is divided into two core sections.
Email Campaigns
Email Campaigns are used to send emails.
Create personalized messages for specific audiences
Configure delivery and scheduling options
Snippet attachments are supported and included automatically
Templates
Templates are used for design and branding.
Customize layout, colors, and structure
Choose from prebuilt templates or create from scratch
Snippets can be inserted, but attachments are not supported
Creating Email Templates
Click + New.
Choose how you want to create your template:
Template Library
Reuse an existing Campaign
Blank Template
If using a Blank Template, select one editor type:
Editor Notes
Plain Text Editor is best for simple messages.
Design Editor supports drag-and-drop elements.
Code Editor is for custom HTML designs.
Design Options Element
Add Elements
Add content blocks such as:
Text
Images
Buttons
Logos
Dividers
Manage Elements
View all sections and elements in the email. Scrolling highlights where each element exists in the layout.

Customize visual settings:

Mobile formatting
A/B Testing
Send up to six variations of subject lines or content. Kyrios automatically sends the winning version to the remaining audience.
Saved Items
Reuse saved elements by dragging them into templates. Items can be renamed or deleted.
Part 2: Adding Elements to Your Template
Use the left panel to choose layouts or elements.
Drag and drop layouts first if structural changes are needed.
Drag elements into the appropriate sections.
Layouts define structure. Elements define content.
Part 3: In-Line Editor
Selecting an element opens the in-line editor at the top of the screen. This editor controls formatting and content behavior.

Padding Control
Default padding is applied for consistency:

Left: 24px

Padding can be customized per element if needed.
Text Snippets in Email Builder
Text snippets can be inserted into templates or campaigns.
Important: Attachments are supported in campaigns only, not templates.
Mobile Optimization
Email Builder includes mobile-specific controls:
Enable or disable column stacking
Adjust image alignment for full-width display
Edit layouts using mobile and desktop views
No custom code is required.
Visibility Controls for Layouts
Visibility can be managed at the layout level.
How to Use
Hover over a layout block and use device icons
Or use the Visibility tab in the left panel
Preview desktop and mobile views or send a test email
This allows clean mobile designs without duplicating layouts.
Part 4: Saving and Previewing
Templates support version control and testing.
Available actions:
Save templates
Preview designs
Send test emails
View version history
Restore previous versions
Sync changes

Creating Email Campaigns
Part 1: Creating Your Campaign
Go to Marketing > Emails > Email Campaigns.
Click + New.
Hover over a template and select the checkmark to use it.
You will be redirected to the Email Builder to finalize edits.
Save changes to ensure updates apply to the campaign.
Editing and Refinement
Click the three-dot menu to access:
Sending and Scheduling
Click Send and Schedule to configure delivery.
You can:
Send immediately
Schedule for a specific date and time
Use batch scheduling
Send to smart lists or filtered contacts
These options help manage volume and delivery timing.
Using Automations
Email campaigns can be used inside automations.
Add an email step in a workflow
Select an existing template
Updates to templates automatically apply across workflows
This ensures consistent branding and simplified maintenance.
