What an Email Template Is (and Is Not)
An email template is a preset layout used as a foundation for future emails.
You can insert text, images, videos, and other elements into a template.
An email template is not the final email sent to contacts.
Templates act as layout placeholders.
The actual message sent to contacts is called an email campaign.
Best Practice
Use placeholder text and custom values in templates.
