How to Use Brand Boards in Emails

Brand Boards let you apply saved brand colors, fonts, and logos directly inside the Email Builder to keep all email campaigns visually consistent.

This article is for users who want consistent branding across email campaigns without manually managing colors, fonts, or logos.

Use this when:

  • You manage one or more Brand Boards.

  • You want brand-approved colors and fonts available in the Email Builder.

  • You want quick access to brand logos when building emails.

What Brand Boards Do in Emails

Brand Boards centralize your brand’s visual assets and make them selectable inside the Email Builder.

Brand Boards control:

  • Brand colors shown in the color picker

  • Brand fonts shown at the top of the font selector

  • Logos available in the media library

Only the default Brand Board controls which colors and fonts appear in the Email Builder.

Brand Board Rules to Know

  • Only one Brand Board can be set as the default.

  • Only the default Brand Board’s colors and fonts appear in editors.

  • All Brand Board logos are accessible from the media library.

  • No custom hex codes or font uploads are required during email design.

Each of these rules applies automatically once a Brand Board is configured.

Open an Email Campaign or Template

  1. Navigate to Marketing.

  2. Open Email Marketing.

  3. Open an existing Email Campaign or Email Template.

This opens the Email Builder where Brand Board assets can be used.

Use Brand Colors in Emails

  1. Click a text block, button, or background element.

  2. Open the color picker.

  3. View Brand Colors displayed at the top of the palette.

  4. Select a brand color to apply it instantly.

The color names match what was defined in the Brand Board.

Use Brand Fonts in Emails

  1. Click a text element.

  2. Open the font dropdown.

  3. Locate Brand Fonts at the top of the list.

  4. Select the desired font.

Only fonts from the default Brand Board appear in this section.

Add Logos from Brand Boards

  1. Add a Logo or Image element to the email.

  2. Click Upload from media library.

  3. Open the media library.

Find Brand Board Logos in the Media Library

  1. In the media library, click Home to view folders.

  2. Locate and select your brand logo.

  3. Insert the logo into the email.

Logos from all Brand Boards are available here.

Save and Send the Email

  1. Click Save to keep your changes.

  2. Click Send or Schedule when ready.

Your email now uses Brand Board-approved fonts, colors, and logos.
