Who This Is For / When to Use
Use Brand Board integration when you want one or more Chat Widgets to use approved brand colors and fonts without manually entering the same styling values for every widget.
This is useful when:
Multiple Chat Widgets should use consistent branding
Brand colors are already configured in a Brand Board
Brand fonts should be easy to find while styling a widget
Existing custom widget colors need to remain available for reuse
What Changed
The Chat Widget Style panel now integrates with Brand Boards.
The update includes:
Brand Colors inside supported color pickers
A shared Default color palette
Automatic reuse of existing custom widget colors
Automatic addition of newly used colors to the shared palette
Brand Fonts separated from the standard font library
Automatic color normalization and deduplication
Existing Chat Widgets do not need to be migrated or reconfigured. Existing embed snippets do not need to be changed.
How Brand Colors Work
When an account has a configured Brand Board, its approved colors appear under Brand Colors in supported Chat Widget color pickers. Brand Colors are read-only inside the Chat Widget builder.
To add, remove, or change a Brand Color, update the Brand Board rather than editing the color from the widget.
The color picker also includes a Default palette for reusable colors that are not managed through the Brand Board.
How the Default Color Palette Works
The Default palette is shared across Chat Widgets in the account.
Colors already used by existing custom-themed Chat Widgets are automatically carried into the Default palette the first time the updated builder is opened.
When you use a new color in a Chat Widget, that color is also added to the shared Default palette for future use. Kyrios automatically normalizes and deduplicates colors so the same color does not appear repeatedly.
Use a Brand Color in a Chat Widget
Open the Chat Widget you want to edit.
Go to Style.
Open a supported color setting, such as the header or button color.
Choose a color under Brand Colors or Default.
Review the updated widget preview.
Select Save.
Brand Colors come from the Brand Board, while Default colors can be reused across Chat Widgets in the account.
Add a Custom Color
You can continue using a custom color that is not already in the Brand Board or Default palette.
Open a supported color field.
Open the color picker.
Select or enter the custom color.
Save the color.
Save the Chat Widget.
The new color is added to the shared Default palette so it can be reused in other Chat Widgets in the account.
How Brand Fonts Work
Fonts configured in the Brand Board appear separately in the Chat Widget font picker under Brand Fonts.
Standard fonts remain available in the regular font library.
To use a Brand Font:
Open the Chat Widget.
Go to Style.
Find Typography.
Open Font family.
Select a font under Brand Fonts.
Save the Chat Widget.
This lets you select approved typography without searching through the full standard font list.
What Happens If No Brand Board Is Configured
Brand Colors appear only when the account has a configured Brand Board.
If no Brand Board is available, the Chat Widget builder provides an option to set one up. You can still use the standard font library and Default color palette without Brand Colors.
Existing Chat Widgets
Existing Chat Widgets continue working without migration or reconfiguration. Existing custom colors are preserved and automatically added to the shared Default palette when the updated builder is used. You do not need to update existing website embed code after using Brand Board colors or fonts.
Common Issues and Fixes
Brand Colors are not appearing
Confirm that a Brand Board has been configured for the account.
Brand Colors do not appear in the Chat Widget builder until a Brand Board exists.
I cannot edit a Brand Color from the Chat Widget
Brand Colors are read-only in the Chat Widget builder. Update the color from the Brand Board if the approved brand palette needs to change.
A custom color I used appears in other Chat Widgets
This is expected. New custom colors are added to the shared Default palette and can be reused across Chat Widgets in the account.
The Default palette contains colors from older widgets
Existing custom-themed Chat Widget colors are automatically carried into the Default palette. This preserves previously used colors without requiring you to recreate them.
The same color appears in different formats
Kyrios normalizes and deduplicates palette colors automatically to reduce repeated entries.
