Important Notes and Limitations
Personal mobile numbers:
Porting a personal cell phone number cannot be reversed.
Kyrios strongly recommends porting existing VoIP numbers only.
Porting fees:
A one-time porting fee is charged per number.
Service interruption:
A brief downtime (usually under one hour) may occur on the completion date.
Mid-week porting is recommended to avoid weekend delays.
Canadian Number Porting
Canadian number porting follows the same steps as US ports with the differences below:
Typical porting timeframe is 4β6 weeks, depending on the losing carrier.
You must include the customer account number exactly as listed with the current provider.
After port completion, verify number capabilities to ensure expected functionality.
Internal Number Transfers (Account to Account)
If the phone number already exists with the same underlying provider but under a different Kyrios account:
The number may only need an internal transfer, not an external port.
You must provide the losing account identifier to support.
