Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this guide if:

  • You can see an element in an email but cannot click or edit it.

  • An image shows as missing or broken.

  • Spacing, dividers, or sections appear incorrect.

  • An element exists but is hidden due to visibility or size settings.

This process applies to all email templates built in the Kyrios Email Builder.

Step 1: Open or Create an Email Template

  1. Navigate to Marketing in the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Emails at the top.

  3. Select Templates from the dropdown.

  4. Click + New and choose one of the following:

    • Create Template from Existing Campaign

    • Email Marketing Templates

    • Blank Template

    • Import Email

Step 2: Open the Email Builder

  1. Open an existing template or create a new one.

  2. The Email Builder will load with the visual editor and left-side controls.

This is where hidden or broken elements are most commonly encountered.

Step 3: Open the Manage Elements Panel

  1. Inside the Email Builder, locate the Manage Elements icon (stacked layers icon) in the top toolbar.

  2. Click the icon to open the element hierarchy view.

This panel displays every section, column, and element in the email—even ones not visible on the canvas.

Step 4: Use Sections and Columns to Locate Elements

  1. In the Manage Elements panel, expand:

    • Sections

    • Columns

  2. Hover over any item in the list.

When you hover:

  • The builder automatically scrolls to that element.

  • The element is visually highlighted on the canvas.

This is the fastest way to find hidden, collapsed, or inaccessible elements.

Step 5: Edit or Delete Hidden Elements

Once the hidden element is highlighted:

  1. Click the element directly in the builder or

  2. Use the edit (pencil) or delete (trash) icons from the element toolbar.

This works even if the element is:

  • Hidden by visibility settings

  • Covered by another section

  • Too small to click normally

Step 6: Fix Broken or Missing Images

If an image is missing due to visibility settings:

  1. Locate the image using the Manage Elements panel.

  2. Select the image element.

  3. Adjust visibility settings or delete and re-add the image.

If an image is missing due to size issues:

  1. Edit the image element.

  2. Check the Height value:

    • If the height is below 10px, the image may not render.

  3. Set Height and Width to Auto or increase the height.

  4. If needed:

    • Resize the image in an image editor.

    • Delete the image element.

    • Re-add the corrected image.
