What the Footer Element Does
The Footer Element is a prebuilt email section designed to appear at the bottom of an email layout. The element can be customized to match the rest of the email by changing:
Text content
Background color
Text formatting
Links
Padding
Device visibility
Conditional sending rules
The Footer Element affects the email’s design and content. It does not control which contacts receive the email.
Benefits of Using the Footer Element
The Footer Element helps:
Keep required information organized in one section.
Maintain consistent branding across email templates.
Provide recipients with contact and compliance information.
Add website, support, privacy, or social media links.
Reuse a predictable footer structure across campaigns.

3. Locate the Footer Element
Inside the Email Builder:

Device-Based Visibility

Common Issues and Fixes
The Footer Does Not Appear in the Email
Open the Footer Element’s Visibility tab. Confirm that:
The footer is set to All Devices, or the correct device type is selected.
Conditional Sending is disabled, or its conditions match the recipient.
The footer has not been deleted from the email canvas.
The Footer Appears on Desktop but Not Mobile
Check the device visibility setting. Select All Devices when the same footer should appear on both desktop and mobile.
Footer Text Is Difficult to Read
Adjust the background color or text color to create stronger contrast. Preview the email after making the change.
The Footer Has Too Much Empty Space
Open the Edit tab and reduce the padding values. Padding controls the internal space surrounding the Footer Element’s content.
Footer Links Do Not Work
Select each linked text or icon and confirm that the destination is complete and correct. Use the email preview or a test send to verify the links before sending the campaign.
Recipient Information Is Incorrect
Review any custom values used in the footer. Values such as business name or email address may be populated from account information. Confirm that the account settings contain the correct details.
