What Entity History Tracks
Entity History records listing-related changes inside Audit Logs.
Each log can include:
Listing entity ID
User or system source
Timestamp
Action type
Before-and-after data when available
Entity History helps teams verify what changed, when it changed, and who or what caused the change.
How to Access Entity History for Listings
Follow these steps to view listing history in Audit Logs.
From the account dashboard, click Settings in the left sidebar.
2. In Settings, click Audit Logs.
3. In Audit Logs, open the module dropdown and select Listings.
4. Use the available filters to narrow the results.
You can filter by:
User
Action
Module
Date range
Document ID
5. Click a listed entity record to view its update timeline and available change details.
Entity History Features
Augmented Audit Details
Entity History can capture detailed listing audit data, including user ID, timestamp, entity ID, action type, and before-and-after values when available.
User Attribution
Entity History identifies whether a change was made by a user or by a system-generated process. User-made changes are tied to user attribution when available.
Listing Change Timeline
Entity History allows teams to review listing changes over time from Audit Logs.
This helps teams understand how a listing record changed across edits, deletions, or automated updates.
Compliance and Internal Review
Entity History supports internal review by keeping a visible record of listing activity.
Only users with access to Audit Logs can view these records.
Common Issues and Fixes
I do not see Audit Logs in Settings
You may not have permission to access Audit Logs. Ask an account admin to review your user permissions.
I do not see Listings in the module dropdown
Confirm you are viewing Settings > Audit Logs. Then open the module dropdown and select Listings.
I do not see any listing history
No matching records may exist for the selected filters. Try clearing filters or expanding the date range.
FAQ
Can I export Entity History logs?
No. Exporting Entity History logs through a public API is not currently supported.
Who can see Entity History logs?
Only users with Audit Log access permissions can view Entity History logs.
Are deleted listings included?
Yes. Deleted listings are tracked when deletion events are recorded in Audit Logs.
Can I see system-initiated changes?
Yes. System-generated changes can appear in Audit Logs and are labeled according to the source or process that triggered the change.
