How to Use Audit Logs

Audit Logs let Account Admins track system activity, user actions, and data changes across the account for troubleshooting, compliance, and accountability.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use Audit Logs if you are an Account Admin who needs to verify who made a change, when it happened, and what exactly was modified across contacts, calendars, payments, communications, or other system modules.

Note: Audit Logs are visible only to Account Admins. Account Users do not have access.


Accessing Audit Logs

  1. Navigate to Settings.

  2. Click Audit Logs.

The Audit Logs page displays a searchable list of all tracked activities from the last 60 days.


Understanding Audit Log Columns

Each log entry includes:

  • Name: The entity or record affected.

  • Module: The system area where the change occurred (for example, Contacts, Calendars, Payments).

  • Action: What happened (Created, Updated, Deleted, Restored).

  • Done By: The user or system that performed the action.

  • Date & Time: When the action occurred.


Filtering Audit Logs

Use filters at the top of the page to narrow results.

Document ID or Name

Search by document name or unique ID to find logs for a specific record.

Selected Users

Filter logs by staff members to see actions performed by a specific user.

Actions

Filter by action type:

  • Created

  • Updated

  • Deleted

  • Restored

Modules

Filter by module to track activity for specific features such as Contacts, Calendars, Payments, WhatsApp, or Company settings.

Date Range

Filter logs by time period. Audit Logs retain activity for the last 60 days.


Viewing Log Details

  1. Locate a log entry.

  2. Click the eye icon or three-dot menu.

  3. Select View Details.

The details view shows:

  • Module

  • Document ID and name

  • Action performed

  • Date and time of change

  • User who made the change

  • Modified fields and values


Viewing Added or Updated Field Changes

For detailed data changes:

  1. Open a log entry.

  2. Review the Added / Updated Fields section.

  3. Expand fields to compare original and new values.

This is useful for tracking exact field-level updates.


Tracking Calendar Changes

View All Calendar Changes

  1. Set Module filter to Calendars.

  2. Review all calendar-related updates.

Track a Specific Calendar

  1. Open Calendar Settings and copy the Calendar ID.

  2. Go to Settings > Audit Logs.

  3. Paste the Calendar ID into the Document ID search.


Tracking Refund Activity

Audit Logs capture both successful and failed refund actions.

You can view:

  • Full or partial refunds

  • Refund status

  • Notes

  • User who processed the refund

  1. Go to Settings > Audit Logs.

  2. Set Module to Payment.


WhatsApp Audit Logs

Use Audit Logs to track WhatsApp-related actions such as:

  • Phone number changes

  • Template updates

  • Flow modifications

Filter by Module: WhatsApp to view related activity.


Funnels, Websites, Webinars, and Stores

Audit Logs capture edits and updates for:

  • Funnels

  • Websites and pages

  • Webinars

  • E-commerce stores

Use the Module filter to review activity for each asset type.


Opportunities and Pipelines

Admins can restore deleted pipelines directly from Audit Logs, including:

  • Pipeline structure

  • Associated stages

  • Related opportunities

Filter by Module: Opportunities or Pipelines to locate deleted records.


Device and Login Tracking

Audit Logs include device-level login details:

  • Device name

  • IP address

  • Browser information

This improves security monitoring and accountability.


Common Issues and Fixes

No audit logs found

  • Adjust filters or expand the date range.

  • Confirm activity occurred within the last 60 days.

Cannot access Audit Logs

  • Verify you are logged in as an Account Admin.

User no longer exists

  • Deleted users still appear in logs for the 60-day retention period.
