Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this feature if you want Kyrios appointments to automatically generate Google Meet links and sync with Google Calendar for availability and conflict management.

This applies to supported calendar types and team-based scheduling.

Prerequisites

Before connecting Google Meet, confirm your Google Calendar permissions:

  • Writer access is required to add Kyrios-created events to Google Calendar.

  • Read-only access is sufficient if you only want to fetch events for availability.

If you encounter permission issues, review the Google Calendar writer access troubleshooting steps.

Step 1: Connect Google Calendar

You can connect Google Calendar from either location:

  • Settings > My Profile > Calendar Settings

  • Calendars > Calendar Settings > Connections

Click Add New or Connect next to Google Calendar and complete authorization.

Once connected, Google Meet becomes available for use.

Step 2: Assign Calendar to a User

  1. Go to Settings > Team.

  2. Locate the team member and click the Edit (pencil) icon.

  3. Open Calendar Configuration.

Connected calendars appear under Connected Calendars.

Step 3: Configure Linked Calendar

The Linked Calendar determines where Kyrios writes new appointments.

  1. In Calendar Configuration, click Edit next to Linked Calendar.

  2. Select the Google Calendar where new events should be added.

  3. Save your changes.

Notes:

  • Writer access is required to select a Linked Calendar.

  • By default, the Linked Calendar is also added as a conflict calendar.

Step 4: Configure Conflict Calendars

Conflict Calendars prevent double bookings.

  1. In Calendar Configuration, click Edit next to Conflict Calendars.

  2. Select additional calendars to check for conflicts.

  3. Save.

Behavior:

  • Events marked BUSY block availability.

  • Events marked FREE do not block availability.

Step 5: Enable Google Meet as Meeting Location (User)

To allow Google Meet for a user:

  1. Go to User Availability.

  2. Open Meeting Location.

  3. Select Google Meet.

If the user hosts appointments, this setting controls the default meeting location.

Step 6: Enable Google Meet on a Calendar

Google Meet must also be selected at the calendar level.

  1. Go to Calendars.

  2. Click Edit on the calendar.

  3. Open Meeting Details.

  4. Select the team member.

  5. Choose Google Meet as the meeting location.

  6. Save.

Step 7: Add Calendar to a Funnel or Page

To allow clients to book using the calendar:

  1. Go to Sites > Funnels.

  2. Add a Calendar element.

  3. Select the desired calendar from the dropdown.

  4. Save and publish.

Step 8: Test the Booking Experience

Preview the page and schedule a test appointment.

A successful booking shows:

  • Appointment details

  • Google Meet link

  • Calendar add options

Advanced Sync Settings

You can adjust sync behavior from Advanced Settings under Calendar Configuration.

These settings control how events are written and read between Kyrios and Google Calendar.
