Issue 1: Facebook Pages Not Showing in Social Planner
If some Facebook Pages do not appear when connecting, the issue is almost always related to permissions or how the page was originally connected.
Cause: Missing Facebook Page Access
Even if you manage a Page through Meta Business Manager, Social Planner requires direct Facebook Page access with content permissions.
Step 1: Switch to the Correct Facebook Page
Log in to Facebook.
Click your profile icon in the top-right.
Select the Facebook Page you want to manage.
Step 2: Confirm You Are Acting as the Page
Once switched:
The Page name appears in the left sidebar.
Page posting options become visible.
Step 3: Open Page Management
On the Page, click Manage.
This opens the Page management view.
Step 4: Verify Page Access
In the left menu, click Professional dashboard.
Scroll to and select Page access.
Step 5: Confirm Facebook Access (Not Business Access)
Under Page access, confirm:
Your name appears under People with Facebook access
You have full control permissions
Important
Business account access alone will NOT work
The user must have direct Facebook access
Ask the Page owner to add you if missing
Issue 2: Page Missing Despite Admin Access
If you are an admin, but the Page still does not appear, permissions were likely not fully granted during the original connection.
Step 6: Open Facebook Settings
Click your profile icon.
Select Settings & privacy.
Click Settings.
Step 7: Open Business Integrations
In Settings, click Business integrations.
Locate LeadConnector (or the connected Kyrios integration).
Click View and edit.
Step 8: Verify Integration Permissions
In the integration details:
Ensure all Pages are selected
Ensure all permissions are enabled
Save changes
Step 9: Reconnect Facebook in Social Planner
Go to Marketing > Social Planner > Settings.
Open Social Accounts.
Reconnect Facebook.
Make sure all Pages are checked during reconnection.
Previously missing Pages should now appear.
Issue 3: Facebook Post Failed to Publish
Below are the most common publishing errors and how to fix them.
Cause: Abusive or Restricted Content
Facebook blocks posts that violate Community Standards.
Fix
Remove restricted language
Avoid excessive symbols or repeated emojis
Cause: Expired Access Token
Tokens expire if:
Facebook password was changed
No posts were published in 90 days
Fix
Reconnect Facebook in Social Planner
Cause: Two-Factor Authentication Mismatch
If 2FA is enabled on the Page:
The connecting Facebook user must also have 2FA enabled
Fix
Enable 2FA
Reconnect the account
Cause: Missing manage_permissions
If posting for a client:
You must have full Page admin permissions
Permissions must be granted during connection
Fix
Reconnect and approve all Page permissions
Cause: Missing or Invalid Media
Posts fail if:
Linked images were deleted
URLs no longer load
Fix
Re-upload images
Validate links before posting
Issue 4: Unable to Reconnect a Facebook Page or Group
Only the original connecting Facebook user can reconnect a Page or Group.
How to Fix Reconnection Issues
Identify who originally connected the Page.
That same user must reconnect it.
Example
Emily connected the Page originally.
Alex (account admin) cannot reconnect it.
Emily must reconnect it.
This is a known Facebook limitation.
Social Planner Check: Expired Connections
Expired Facebook connections appear under the Expired filter.
Reconnect expired accounts to restore publishing.
