This article is for account admins and users who need to connect third-party calendars, manage synced availability, or enable Google booking and advertising integrations.
What the Connections Tab Controls
The Connections tab centralizes all calendar-related integrations and availability controls.
It includes the following sections:
Calendars
Video Conferencing
Google Organic Booking
Local Services Ads
Accessing the Connections Tab
Go to Settings > Calendars.
Open the Connections tab.
Use the Staff dropdown to select a user.
Account admins can view and manage connections for all staff members.
Calendars
Connected Calendars
Connected calendars allow the system to:
Check availability in real time
Sync booked appointments to external calendars
Block conflicting time slots to prevent double bookings
Supported calendar providers include:
Google Calendar
Outlook / Office 365
iCloud Calendar
Click Add New to connect a calendar.
Calendar Configuration
Calendar Configuration controls how bookings sync for Team/Group calendars, including:
Round Robin Calendars
Service Calendars
Class Calendars
Collective Calendars
When enabled:
Appointments assigned to a user sync to their connected calendar.
External calendar events sync back to block availability.
This keeps availability accurate across systems.
Private Mode for Synced Events
Private Mode hides event details from other users.
When enabled:
Only the user who connected the calendar can see event details.
Other users see the time blocked but not the event information.
You can manage this setting from:
My Profile > Connections
Settings > Calendars > Connections
Video Conferencing
Video conferencing integrations automatically generate meeting links for booked appointments.
Supported providers:
Zoom
Microsoft Teams
When connected:
A unique meeting link is created for each appointment.
The link is shared with participants automatically.
Google Organic Booking
Google Organic Booking allows customers to book directly from your Google Business Profile.
Key notes:
No paid ads or third-party booking tools are required.
Changes may take 24β48 hours to appear on Google.
Before enabling:
Ensure Business Profile location details match exactly.
Match calendar or service descriptions with their names.
Local Services Ads
Local Services Ads integrations allow leads from Google to book or contact your business.
Important requirements:
Supported only in the United States.
Requires an active Local Services Ads account.

Business details in Settings > Business Profile must exactly match your LSA account.
Reconnect Your Integration
If a calendar or video integration breaks, you can restore it using Reconnect.
Reconnect resolves issues caused by:
Expired access tokens
Permission changes
Key rules:
Reconnect uses OAuth to restore access.
All existing settings remain unchanged.
Only the original connected account can reconnect.
If a different account is used, you will be prompted to remove and reconnect.
Common Issues and Fixes
Appointments are double-booking
Ensure calendar sync is active and external calendars are properly connected.
Reconnect fails
Verify you are logging in with the same account originally used to connect the integration.
Google booking changes not visible
Wait up to 48 hours and confirm Business Profile details match exactly.
