Who This Is For / When to Use
Use this guide if you need to send documents, images, videos, or other files to a contact directly from the Conversations inbox via email or SMS.
How File Attachments Work in Kyrios
Kyrios allows file attachments directly from your device or from Media Storage.
When files exceed delivery limits, Kyrios automatically converts them into secure Media Storage links to ensure successful delivery.
Attach a File to an Email or SMS
Step 1: Open the Conversation
Go to Conversations.
Search for and open the contact you want to message.
Step 2: Click the Attachment (Paperclip) Icon
In the message composer, click the paperclip icon.
Choose one of the following:
Upload from System (upload a file from your device)
Media Storage (select an existing file)
Step 3: Upload or Select Your File
Drag and drop files directly into the conversation or
Select files from Media Storage
Step 4: Send the Message
Once attached, send your email or SMS as usual.
Kyrios automatically determines whether the file is sent as an attachment or as a Media Storage link.
What Happens When Files Are Too Large
If the total attachment size exceeds 25 MB for email:
Files within the limit are sent as attachments
Remaining files are uploaded to Media Storage
Media files are inserted as secure download links
Email Attachment Size Limits (By Provider)
Different email providers enforce their own limits. Common examples include:
Gmail: 25 MB per email
Outlook / Hotmail: 10 MB per file
Yahoo Mail: 25 MB per email
Zoho Mail: 12 MB per email
If limits are exceeded, Kyrios automatically sends files as Media Storage links.
SMS & MMS Attachment Limits
To send attachments via SMS:
Your number must be MMS-enabled
Up to 10 attachments are allowed
Total message size (text + files) must be under 5 MB
Carrier limits apply.
Example Carrier Limits (US)
AT&T: 1 MB
Verizon: 1.7 MB
T-Mobile: 3 MB
