How to Upload Images and Use Media Storage

Media Storage lets you upload, organize, and reuse images and files across Kyrios, including funnels, websites, emails, and social posts.

What Media Storage Is

Media Storage is a centralized file library inside Kyrios.

It allows you to:

  • Upload files from your device

  • Import free images from Unsplash and Pixabay

  • Organize files into folders

  • Reuse the same media across all Kyrios tools

Once uploaded, files are available system-wide.

Step 1: Access Media Storage

  1. Click Media Storage from the left sidebar.

The Media Storage dashboard opens automatically.

Step 2: Navigate Media Storage

Within Media Storage, you can:

  • Search for files by name

  • Upload files or create folders (top-right)

  • Switch between grid and list views

  • Add images from Unsplash or Pixabay

Images added from Unsplash or Pixabay are copied to your servers and remain available even if removed from the source.

Step 3: Upload Files

Upload from Your Device

  • Drag and drop files directly into Media Storage

  • Or click Upload and select files

You can also upload compressed .zip files (up to 100 MB).

Preview Media Before Use

  • Click the three-dot menu on a file

  • Select Preview to check quality and details

This helps verify images before inserting them.

Step 4: Organize Media

Use Folders

  • Create folders for categories (e.g., Logos, Products, Social)

  • Manage folders using the three-dot menu

  • Rename or delete folders as needed

Sort and View Options

  • Sort by name, size, or modified date

  • Toggle between grid and list view

  • Hover over files to see size and last modified date



Google Drive Sync

Media Storage supports direct Google Drive syncing.

How it works:

  • Connect Google Drive to Media Storage

  • Drag and drop files between systems

  • Folder creation and uploads are two-way synced


Restrictions:

  • Rename and delete actions are disabled for Google Drive files

  • This protects file integrity

Quick Insert for Single Files

When selecting a single file:

  • An Insert Media button appears

  • Click to insert instantly without extra steps

File Actions and Details

  • Right-click files for quick actions

  • Click an image to view details such as:

    • File size

    • Dimensions

    • Published date

You can also:

  • Download the file

  • Insert it into content

  • Copy the file URL

Using Images Across Kyrios

Funnels and Websites

  1. Go to Funnels or Websites.

  2. Edit a page.

  3. Drag in an Image element.

  4. Click the image icon.

  5. Select an image from Media Storage.

  6. Save changes.

Image URL access:
Use Get Link in Media Storage or copy the URL from the element settings.

Email Builder

  1. Go to Marketing > Email Builder.

  2. Open or create an email.

  3. Add an Image element.

  4. Choose an image from Media Storage.

  5. Save the email.


Social Planner

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner.

  2. Create or edit a post.

  3. Click the image/video icon.

  4. Select media from Media Storage.


File Types and Size Limits

Media Storage (General Uploads)

  • Images: PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, SVG, WEBP, TIFF

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, TXT

  • Video: MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, WEBM (up to 4GB)

  • Audio: WAV, MP3, OGG (up to 100MB)

  • ZIP: Up to 100MB

Funnels

  • Images only

  • Max image size: 100MB

Social Planner

  • Images: up to 10MB

  • Videos: up to 1GB

Other Upload Limits

  • Membership course videos: up to 4GB

  • Membership files: up to 50MB

  • File upload custom fields: up to 50MB

Best Practices

  • Name files descriptively for easier search

  • Use folders for organization instead of generic filenames

  • Compress large uploads into ZIP files

  • Reuse stored images instead of re-uploading
