Where File Upload Limits Apply

File limits vary depending on where the file is used:

  • Media Storage: Highest limits for most file types

  • Social Planner: Lower limits for faster posting performance

  • Sites & Funnels: Optimized for web delivery

  • Courses: Balanced for streaming and downloads

  • Forms: Strict limits to prevent large uploads from users

How File Size and Dimensions Affect Usage

File Size

  • Large files may fail to upload if they exceed limits

  • Larger files can slow page load times

Image Dimensions

  • Small images stretched large will appear pixelated

  • Large images resized smaller may lose detail

File Type Compatibility

  • Some builders support specific formats only (e.g., PNG vs SVG)

  • Unsupported formats will not upload or render

Preview Behavior

  • Most files display a preview inside Media Storage

  • Some file types download instead of previewing, depending on browser support

  • Image and video thumbnails are shown when available

Common Issues and Fixes

File Won’t Upload

Fix: Compress or reduce file size before uploading

File Uploads but Won’t Display Properly

Cause: Unsupported format or incorrect dimensions
Fix: Convert to supported format (e.g., PNG, JPG, MP4)

Image Looks Blurry

Fix: Upload higher-resolution image or use SVG

Upload Works in Media Storage but Not in Social Planner

Cause: Lower size limits in Social Planner
Fix: Resize or compress file under 10MB

FAQ

What is the maximum file size I can upload?

Media Storage supports:

  • Up to 100MB for most files

  • Up to 4GB for videos

Why does my file upload in one place but not another?

Different Kyrios products have different limits. For example:

  • Social Planner has stricter limits than Media Storage

Can I upload files through forms?

Yes. File upload fields in forms allow users to submit files, but:

  • Maximum file size is typically 50MB

Why does my image look pixelated?

The image resolution is too small for how it is displayed. Use a higher-resolution file or SVG format.

Are all file types previewable?

No. Some files (like ZIP or certain document types) may only be downloadable depending on browser behavior.
