What Is A2P 10DLC
A2P (Application-to-Person) 10DLC is a U.S. carrier framework that regulates business messaging sent from 10-digit phone numbers. Carriers require businesses to register their identity and messaging use cases before allowing message delivery at scale.
When A2P Registration Is Required
A2P registration is required if:
Your account sends SMS or MMS to U.S. phone numbers, and
You use 10-digit long code numbers (not toll-free).
If your traffic is not registered, carriers may block or filter messages.
What Gets Registered
A2P registration in Kyrios includes three required components:
Business Profile – verifies the legal business entity.
Brand Registration – registers the business with carriers.
Campaign Registration – explains how and why messages are sent.
Each step is completed inside the Trust Center.
Where to Start
Navigate to: Settings > Phone Numbers > Trust Center
From there, select A2P Brand and Campaign Registration (SMS) and start the registration flow.
Optional Trust Products
The Trust Center also includes optional products such as Voice Integrity, which improves outbound call reputation. Voice Integrity is separate from A2P SMS registration.
Key Notes
A valid EIN is required for standard brand registration.
DUNS numbers are not supported and may cause rejection.
Approval typically takes 72 hours but can take up to 7 days.
