Use this if you want outbound calls from Kyrios to display your own phone number instead of a system-generated number.
What Verified Caller ID Does
Verified Caller ID allows you to:
Use an external or business-owned phone number as the caller ID
Display a familiar number to recipients
Improve call pickup rates and trust
This feature does not display a business name.
To display a business name, you must use CNAM (Voice).
Important Notes and Limitations
You can verify up to 10 caller IDs per account by default.
To increase this limit, contact support.
Verified Caller ID is supported only for Kyrios-managed (LC) phone.
It is not supported for personal Twilio accounts.
India restriction: Due to local regulations (effective August 1, 2024), calls placed from a +91 verified caller ID to a +91 destination will not work.
Step 1: Open Phone Number Settings
Go to Settings.
Select Phone Numbers.
Stay on the Phone Numbers tab.
Step 2: Add a Verified Caller ID
Click + Add Number in the top-right corner.
Select Add Verified Caller ID.
Step 3: Enter and Verify Your Phone Number
Enter the phone number you want to use as caller ID.
Click Verify Number.
Step 4: Complete Phone Verification
You will receive an automated call on the entered number.
A verification modal appears with a code.
Answer the call and enter the verification code to confirm ownership.
Once completed, the number is added to your Verified Caller IDs list.
Step 5: Assign the Verified Caller ID to a Phone Number
In Phone Numbers, locate the Kyrios phone number you want to configure.
Click the three-dot menu next to the number.
Select Edit Configuration.
Step 6: Enable Verified Caller ID for Outbound Calls
In the configuration modal, check Use your Verified Number as caller ID for outbound calls.
Select your verified phone number from the dropdown.
Click Save.
Outbound calls from this phone line will now display your verified number.
Common Issues and Fixes
Verification Call Not Received
Confirm the phone number is correct.
Ensure the phone can receive inbound calls.
Retry verification if the call was missed.
Caller ID Not Displaying as Expected
Confirm the verified number is assigned to the correct phone line.
Check for regional or carrier-based caller ID restrictions.
Calls Failing in India
Calls from +91 to +91 using Verified Caller ID are blocked due to local regulations.

Can I use any phone number as a caller ID?
No. The phone number must be verified via an automated call before it can be used.
How many verified caller IDs can I add?
Up to 10 per account by default. You can request an increase from support.
Can I change the caller ID later?
Yes. You can assign a different verified number at any time.
Does Verified Caller ID show my business name?
No. It only shows the phone number. Use CNAM (Voice) to display a business name.
Are there international limitations?
Yes. Some regions restrict or override caller ID behavior based on local regulations.
