Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this if you are prompted to verify your identity when buying phone numbers or enabling phone-related registrations.


When Persona Verification Is Required

Persona verification may be required for:

  • Phone number purchases (US, CA, PR)

  • A2P SMS registration

  • SHAKEN/STIR registration

  • CNAM registration

Once completed, it does not need to be repeated.


Persona Verification Steps

Step 1: Verification Prompt Appears

When required, a Persona modal automatically opens during number purchase or registration.


Step 2: Upload Government-Issued ID

You’ll be asked to upload:

  • Passport

  • Driver’s license

  • Other accepted government ID


Step 3: Complete Live Selfie Verification

Follow on-screen instructions to verify your identity using the camera.


Step 4: Verification Completion

Once verified:

  • Your phone number purchase continues automatically

  • Future verifications are not required
