When Persona Verification Is Required
Persona verification may be required for:
Phone number purchases (US, CA, PR)
A2P SMS registration
SHAKEN/STIR registration
CNAM registration
Once completed, it does not need to be repeated.
Persona Verification Steps
Step 1: Verification Prompt Appears
When required, a Persona modal automatically opens during number purchase or registration.
Step 2: Upload Government-Issued ID
You’ll be asked to upload:
Passport
Driver’s license
Other accepted government ID
Step 3: Complete Live Selfie Verification
Follow on-screen instructions to verify your identity using the camera.
Step 4: Verification Completion
Once verified:
Your phone number purchase continues automatically
Future verifications are not required
