New Review Received Trigger Now Supports All Integrated Review Platforms

The New Review Received workflow trigger can now start workflows from reviews received through any supported review platform integrated with the account, instead of being limited to Google and Facebook reviews.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use the New Review Received trigger when you want a workflow to run automatically after a new review is received from a connected review platform.

This is useful for businesses that collect reviews across multiple platforms and want the same automation to work regardless of where the review was submitted.

What Changed

Previously, the New Review Received workflow trigger supported Google Reviews and Facebook Reviews.

The trigger now supports additional integrated review platforms, including sources such as:

  • Amazon

  • Facebook

  • Goodreads

  • Google

  • Lawyers.com

  • The Knot

  • TripAdvisor

  • Other supported review platforms available in the Review Source filter

Available review sources appear directly in the Review Source dropdown when configuring the trigger.

How the New Review Received Trigger Works

The New Review Received trigger starts a workflow when Kyrios receives a new review that matches the trigger's configured filters.

You can filter the trigger by criteria such as:

  • Review Source — Restricts the workflow to reviews from a selected review platform.

  • Review Rating — Restricts the workflow based on the review's rating.

For example, a workflow can be configured to run only when:

  • Review Source is TripAdvisor

  • Review Rating is Greater than 1

Kyrios workflows support event-based triggers and automated actions across the platform, including reputation management processes.

How to Configure the Trigger for a Review Platform

  1. Open the workflow you want to configure.

  2. Add or edit the New Review Received trigger.

  3. Under Filters, select Review Source.

  4. Choose the comparison operator, such as Is.

  5. Select the review platform that should trigger the workflow.

  6. Add additional filters, such as Review Rating, if needed.

  7. Select Save trigger.

  8. Test the workflow before publishing it.

A workflow only runs when the incoming review matches the filters configured on the trigger.

What You Can Automate After a New Review

After the New Review Received trigger fires, the workflow can continue with the actions and logic you configure.

Common uses include:

  • Notify a team member when a new review is received.

  • Route reviews through different workflow paths.

  • Start follow-up actions based on the review source.

  • Apply different workflow logic based on the review rating.

  • Trigger other automated reputation management processes.

Kyrios workflows can connect triggers with messaging, CRM updates, notifications, conditional logic, and other automated actions.

Existing Google and Facebook Review Workflows

Existing workflows that use Google or Facebook with the New Review Received trigger do not need to be rebuilt because of this update. The enhancement expands the available review sources without changing the intended behavior of existing Google or Facebook trigger configurations.

Important Behavior

The expanded trigger applies to review platforms that are supported and integrated with the account. The Review Source filter determines which review platform can start the workflow when a specific source is selected.

If additional filters are configured, the new review must satisfy those filters before the workflow can run.
