Select Contacts for a WhatsApp Bulk Action
You can start a WhatsApp Bulk Action from Contacts or from a Smart List.
Go to Contacts.
Use filters or open a Smart List to display the contacts you want to message.
Select individual contacts using their checkboxes.
To select every contact in the current result set, select the contacts shown on the page and then click Select all records when that option appears.
Selecting Select all records includes all matching contacts in the result set, not only the contacts displayed on the current page. Kyrios Smart Lists provide dynamic contact segmentation based on saved filters and criteria.
Start the WhatsApp Bulk Action
After selecting the contacts you want to message:
Locate the Bulk Actions toolbar above the contact list.
Click the WhatsApp icon.
Choose Send WhatsApp to begin configuring the bulk action.
The WhatsApp Bulk Action applies to the contacts currently selected when the action is started.
Select and Preview a WhatsApp Template
Only approved WhatsApp templates are available when configuring a WhatsApp Bulk Action.
Select a WhatsApp template from the available template list.
Review the template preview before sending.
Confirm the displayed template content.
Confirm the template category, such as Marketing or Utility.
Confirm the template language.
Enter an Action Name that will help you identify the bulk action later.
The template preview allows you to verify the selected message before the bulk action is launched.
Replace Template Media
If the selected WhatsApp template contains media, you can replace that media for the current bulk action.
Click Replace media in the template preview.
Select a file from your local device.
Confirm that the new media appears in the preview.
Replacing media during a Bulk Action changes the media used for that bulk action only. It does not modify the approved WhatsApp template itself.
Choose When the Messages Are Sent
A WhatsApp Bulk Action can be configured to send immediately, at a scheduled time, or in drip mode. Choose the sending option that matches your campaign requirements:
Send immediately: Kyrios begins processing the bulk action after confirmation.
Schedule for later: Kyrios begins processing at the scheduled date and time.
Drip mode: Kyrios distributes sending over time instead of processing the full selection at once.
Meta messaging limits continue to apply regardless of the sending method selected.
Launch the WhatsApp Bulk Action
Before launching the bulk action:
Review the selected template.
Review any replaced media.
Review the selected contacts.
Review the Action Name.
Review the selected sending method.
Confirm the action.
After confirmation, Kyrios begins processing the WhatsApp Bulk Action according to the selected sending method.
Find a WhatsApp Bulk Action After It Is Launched
WhatsApp Bulk Actions can be monitored from the Bulk Actions area in Contacts.
Go to Contacts.
Click Bulk Actions.
Locate the WhatsApp Bulk Action by its Action Name.
Review the operation type and status.
Click View Details when available for additional information.
Click Show Stats to display campaign statistics.
The Bulk Actions table can display information such as:
Action Name
Bulk operation type
Status
Creation date and time
User
Completion date and time
Processing statistics
View WhatsApp Bulk Action Statistics
Click Show Stats for a WhatsApp Bulk Action to open its detailed statistics.
The statistics window contains status tabs that can include:
Total
Pending
Sent
Delivered
Read
Error
Skipped
The summary at the bottom of the statistics window displays totals and percentages for the bulk action.
The Total view displays contacts included in the bulk action regardless of their individual message status. You can use Export to export the displayed campaign statistics for reporting or further analysis.
Total Status
Total represents the total number of contacts included in the WhatsApp Bulk Action.
The Total tab provides the broadest contact-level view of the bulk action and can include contacts with different processing or delivery statuses.
Pending Status
Pending identifies contacts whose WhatsApp message has not yet been triggered.
A message can remain pending while the bulk action is still processing.
Pending messages are not counted as successfully sent, delivered, or read.
Sent Status
Sent identifies contacts whose WhatsApp message has been sent. A Sent status does not necessarily mean the message has already been delivered or read.
Delivery and read activity are tracked separately when those statuses become available.
Delivered Status
Delivered identifies contacts whose WhatsApp message was successfully delivered.
A Delivered status confirms delivery to the contact but does not by itself confirm that the contact opened or read the message.
Read Status
Read identifies contacts whose WhatsApp message has been opened and read.
Read information is tracked separately from Sent and Delivered so you can distinguish message transmission from recipient engagement.
Error Status
Error identifies contacts for whom WhatsApp message processing or delivery failed.
Possible causes can include:
The contact is not available on WhatsApp.
There is an issue with the selected template.
A Meta messaging limit has been reached.
The connected WhatsApp account has messaging restrictions.
The Error tab can be used to identify affected contacts and review available failure information.
Skipped Status
Skipped identifies contacts that Kyrios excluded from the WhatsApp Bulk Action instead of attempting to send the message. A contact may be skipped because of:
DND settings
A missing phone number
Messaging restrictions
Skipped contacts are tracked separately from contacts whose messages produced an Error.
Export WhatsApp Bulk Action Statistics
Statistics from a WhatsApp Bulk Action can be exported from the detailed statistics window.
Open Contacts → Bulk Actions.
Locate the WhatsApp Bulk Action.
Click Show Stats.
Open the status view you want to review.
Click Export.
The export option is useful when you need contact-level results outside Kyrios for reporting or follow-up.
Common Issues and Fixes
An approved WhatsApp template does not appear
Bulk Actions only display approved WhatsApp templates. Confirm that the template you want to use has been approved before attempting to select it for a WhatsApp Bulk Action.
Some contacts appear under Error
Contacts appear under Error when message processing or delivery fails. Possible causes include:
The contact is not available on WhatsApp.
The template has an issue.
A Meta messaging limit has been exceeded.
The WhatsApp account has messaging restrictions.
Review the Error status for the affected contacts before attempting another send.
Some contacts appear under Skipped
Contacts appear under Skipped when Kyrios excludes them from sending. Possible causes include:
DND settings
Missing phone numbers
Messaging restrictions
Skipped contacts are different from Error contacts because Kyrios did not complete a normal sending attempt for those contacts.
Messages stop sending because the Meta messaging limit is reached
Meta messaging limits control how many new business-initiated conversations can be started within a rolling 24-hour period. When the applicable limit is exceeded, additional messages can fail and appear under Error in the WhatsApp Bulk Action statistics.
A contact remains under Pending
Pending means the WhatsApp message has not yet been triggered for that contact.
Pending contacts may remain in that state while the bulk action is still processing, especially when messages are scheduled or distributed over time.
