What Social Planner Advanced Analytics Shows
Advanced Analytics combines available data from your connected social accounts into one dashboard. Depending on the selected platform and the data provided by that platform, reports can include:
Number of posts.
Likes.
Comments.
Followers.
Impressions.
Post reach.
Engagement.
Link clicks.
Top-performing posts.
Age and gender demographics.
Metric availability and reporting delays vary by platform.
Supported Social Platforms
Social Planner Advanced Analytics can display available data for:
Facebook.
Instagram.
LinkedIn.
YouTube.
Pinterest.
TikTok.
Google Business Profile.
Threads.
Bluesky.
A connected platform may not support every report or metric shown in Social Planner.
Open Social Planner Advanced Analytics
Go to Marketing.
Select Social Planner.
Open the Statistics tab.
The Statistics dashboard displays analytics for the social accounts currently selected in the account filter.
Filter Analytics by Social Account
Use the account selector when you want to include or exclude specific connected social accounts from the reports.
Open the account dropdown in the upper-left area of the Statistics dashboard.
Search for an account when needed.
Select the checkbox beside each account you want to include.
Clear a checkbox to remove that account from the current analytics view.
Select all available accounts when you need an account-wide rollup.
All visible reports update based on the selected accounts.
Filter Analytics by Platform
Use the platform selector on the left side of the Statistics dashboard to narrow the reports to one social network. Available selections can include:
All.
Facebook.
Instagram.
LinkedIn.
TikTok.
Pinterest.
YouTube.
Google Business Profile.
Threads.
Bluesky.
Select All to combine available data from every selected platform. Select one platform to display only that platform’s supported metrics.
KPI Overview
The KPI overview provides a high-level summary of performance across the selected accounts and platforms. The overview can display:
Number of Posts: The total number of published posts included in the current selection.
Total Likes: The total likes reported for the selected social accounts.
Total Followers: The total followers reported by supported platforms.
Total Impressions: The total reported times content was displayed.
Total Comments: The total comments reported for the selected content.
A zero or blank value can mean that the platform does not provide that metric, the account has no qualifying data, or the data has not finished updating.
Social Post Performance
The Social Post Performance report compares publishing activity with available engagement and visibility metrics over the displayed weekly period. The report includes:
Stacked bars representing the number of posts published by platform.
A line for impressions.
A line for likes.
A line for comments.
A platform legend that identifies the color assigned to each social network.
Use this report to determine whether changes in publishing frequency correspond with changes in impressions, likes, or comments. The engagement lines can include interactions recorded during the displayed period, even when the related post was published earlier.
Link Clicks by Socials
The Link Clicks by Socials report shows the number of tracked link clicks attributed to each supported social platform. The report separates click totals by platform so you can compare which networks generate the most traffic from tracked links.
Only shortened links created through Social Planner are included. Standard links that were not shortened through Social Planner are not tracked in this report.
Link Performance
The Link Performance report shows click activity for individual Social Planner shortened links. The report can include:
Campaign name.
Social platform.
Total clicks.
A link action for opening or copying the tracked link.
A sorting option such as Top Performing.
Pagination when multiple tracked links are available.
Use this report to compare specific shortened-link campaigns rather than total link activity by platform. Only shortened links created through Social Planner appear in this report.
Number of Posts
The Number of Posts report shows publishing volume by social platform. The report includes:
The total number of posts for the displayed period.
A comparison with the previous seven-day period.
A platform-level breakdown.
Percentage increases or decreases when comparison data is available.
Use this report to confirm whether publishing activity is increasing or decreasing and to identify platforms that may not be receiving consistent content. A dash can mean no posts were recorded for that platform during the selected period.
Engagement
The Engagement report shows available likes, comments, and shares by platform.
The report includes:
Platform name.
Likes.
Comments.
Shares.
The percentage change compared with the previous period.
Use this report to determine which platform produces the strongest interactions and whether engagement is trending upward or downward. A dash or zero can mean no engagement was recorded or that the platform does not provide the metric.
Impressions
The Impressions report shows how many times supported social content was displayed on a person’s screen. The report includes:
Total impressions for the displayed period.
The percentage change compared with the previous seven-day period.
Impressions by platform.
Platform-level percentage changes.
Impressions count displays, not necessarily unique viewers. One person may generate multiple impressions. Metric support and update timing vary by platform.
Post Reach
The Post Reach report shows how many people were reported as having seen content from the selected social accounts. The report includes:
Total post reach.
The percentage change compared with the previous period.
Reach by supported platform.
Platform-level increases or decreases.
Reach is generally intended to represent people rather than total displays. Because each social network defines and supplies reach differently, values should be interpreted as platform-reported estimates. For Google Business Profile, reach-related results can reflect supported profile interactions such as:
Call clicks.
Website clicks.
Food orders.
Bookings.
Menu clicks.
Direction requests.
Top Performing Posts
The Top Performing Posts report identifies posts with the strongest available performance. The report can display:
Post caption.
Post media.
Likes.
Shares.
Comments.
Social account.
An eye icon for opening the post on the originating platform.
Top-performing posts are ranked using available post performance data, with likes serving as a primary ranking signal. Use this report to identify topics, formats, and creative styles that can be repeated or adapted in future content.
Engagement Stats
The Engagement Stats report provides a detailed time-based comparison of platform performance. Depending on available data, the selector ribbon can include:
Total Impressions.
Total Followers.
Total Likes.
The report displays:
A total for each supported platform.
A trend graph for the displayed period.
A separate line for each platform with available data.
Use this report to compare performance patterns over time instead of reviewing only a single total. Platforms without data can display zero.
Gender and Age Demographics
The demographic report shows audience information supplied by supported social platforms. The report can include:
Male audience percentage and total.
Female audience percentage and total.
Unknown or unclassified audience data when provided.
Audience totals by age range.
Age ranges can include:
13–17.
18–24.
25–34.
35–44.
45–54.
55–64.
65 and older.
Demographic information includes only users who shared the relevant data with the social platform. Instagram demographic data requires at least 100 followers. Demographic reporting is not available for every platform.

Facebook.
Instagram.

LinkedIn Pages.
Post-specific reporting may not be available for:
Google Business Profile.
TikTok Business profiles.
LinkedIn personal profiles.
Communities.
YouTube and Pinterest support can differ as analytics capabilities are updated. Post-specific statistics and the Advanced Analytics dashboard do not always support the same account types or metrics.
Reauthentication and Permission Alerts
Social Planner can display an alert when a connected social account requires renewed authorization or additional permissions. When an alert appears:
Open the affected social connection.
Reconnect or reauthorize the account.
Approve the requested analytics permissions.
Return to the Statistics dashboard after the connection is restored.
Analytics may begin populating from the next reporting cycle after the account is reconnected. Historical data availability depends on the platform.
Data Refresh Timing
Social analytics are not guaranteed to update in real time. Reporting timing can include:
Same-day updates for supported metrics.
A one-day delay for some Threads and Bluesky metrics.
A one- or two-day delay for TikTok.
An approximately two-day delay for Pinterest.
An approximately two-day delay for some LinkedIn follower data.
Platform API delays can cause totals to differ temporarily from the values displayed directly on the social network.
Current Reporting Period
Social Planner Advanced Analytics currently displays data using a weekly reporting period. Several reports compare the current seven-day period with the previous seven-day period. A custom date range is not currently available in this dashboard.
Common Issues and Fixes
A connected account is missing from the account selector
Confirm that the social account is connected to the current Kyrios account. Reconnect the social account when the authorization has expired or when analytics permissions were not granted.
A metric displays zero or a dash
A zero or dash can mean:
The platform does not support the metric.
No qualifying activity occurred during the displayed period.
The platform has not finished processing the data.
The connected account type is not supported.
Analytics permissions need to be renewed.
Review the platform limitations before reconnecting the account.
The dashboard does not match the social platform
Social networks can process and return analytics on different schedules.
Wait for the platform’s expected reporting delay, then review the dashboard again. TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, and Bluesky can return delayed data.
Instagram demographics are missing
Instagram demographic data requires at least 100 followers. The data also depends on the audience information that Instagram makes available for the connected account.
LinkedIn analytics are missing
Advanced Analytics supports LinkedIn Pages, not LinkedIn personal profiles.
Connect a LinkedIn Page and confirm that the required permissions were approved.
TikTok data is missing
Confirm that the connected account is a TikTok Business profile for the Advanced Analytics dashboard. TikTok can take one or two days to return analytics data.
Link clicks are not being tracked
Only shortened links created through Social Planner are tracked in the Link Clicks and Link Performance reports. Links pasted into posts without using the Social Planner link shortener are not included.
Historical data is missing after reauthentication
Some analytics may populate only after the account is reconnected with the required permissions. Historical data recovery depends on the social network and may not be available for every metric.
FAQ
What metrics can I track in Social Planner Advanced Analytics?
Available metrics can include posts, likes, comments, followers, impressions, post reach, engagement, shortened-link clicks, top-performing posts, and demographic data. The exact metrics depend on the selected platform, account type, permissions, and available data.
Can I compare social platforms?
Yes. Select All in the platform filter to view a cross-platform rollup. You can also select one platform at a time to compare its results with the combined view.
Can I compare individual posts?
Yes. Use Top Performing Posts to compare post-level likes, shares, comments, and media. Some platforms also provide post-specific statistics from the post details modal in the Social Planner list view.
Can I export Social Planner analytics?
No. Social Planner Advanced Analytics does not currently provide an analytics export option.
How often is analytics data updated?
Update timing varies by platform and metric. Some data can update quickly, while TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, and Bluesky can have reporting delays of one or more days.
What time range can I view?
Social Planner Advanced Analytics currently uses a weekly reporting period. Several reports compare the current seven days with the previous seven days.
Why does a platform show posts but no engagement?
Post counts and engagement metrics are supplied separately. A platform may provide post counts immediately while delaying or not supporting likes, comments, shares, reach, followers, or demographic data.
Why are link clicks missing?
Link click reporting includes only shortened links created through Social Planner.
Standard links and links shortened outside Social Planner are not included.
Does Google Business Profile reach mean social post reach?
Google Business Profile uses platform-specific interaction data. The displayed value can include call clicks, website clicks, food orders, bookings, menu clicks, and direction requests rather than the same reach definition used by other social networks.
Why are demographic totals incomplete?
Social Planner can display only the demographic information made available by the connected social platform. Users who do not share demographic information are not included in the known age or gender totals.
