What Geographic Site Analytics Shows
Geographic Site Analytics displays location-based visitor data in the Top visits by card. The card includes:
An interactive geographic map
A Country, State, and City dropdown
Hover tooltips with visitor counts
A ranked list of top locations
A total visitor count for the selected view
How to Access Geographic Site Analytics
Go to Sites from the left menu.
Select the Analytics tab from the top navigation.
Use the analytics dashboard to review site, funnel, or page traffic.
How to Filter the Analytics View
Use the top-left filters to choose the asset type and specific asset you want to analyze. You can filter analytics by:
Funnels
Websites
A specific funnel or website
All available assets in the selected type
How to Set the Date Range
Use the date picker in the upper-right area of the Analytics dashboard to control the reporting period. Available quick ranges include:
Last 7 days
Last 14 days
Last 30 days
Last 60 days
Last 90 days
Custom date range
How the Heat Map Works
The map highlights locations based on visitor activity. Darker or stronger map shading indicates more visits from that location. Hover over a shaded location to view the exact visitor count for that area.
Ranked Location List
The right-side list ranks the top locations for the selected geographic level. The list updates when you switch between Country, State, and City. The total visitor count appears above the ranked list.
Country, State, and City Drilldown
Use the Top visits by dropdown to switch the map and ranked list between:
Country
State
City
The map and ranked list update automatically after you change the dropdown.
Common Issues and Fixes
I do not see any geographic data
Geographic data may not appear if the selected asset has low traffic or no tracked visits during the selected date range.
The map does not show the region I expected
Check the selected asset filter and date range. The map only reflects traffic for the current filters.
The ranked list changed after I selected another dropdown option
This is expected. The ranked list updates based on the selected level: Country, State, or City.
