What a Two-Step Order Form Does
A Two-Step Order Form separates checkout into two parts. Step 1 usually collects contact information and shipping details. Step 2 usually collects payment information and completes the order. This layout keeps each checkout screen shorter and easier to complete.
Product Setup Requirement
Products must be added to the same funnel step before the Two-Step Order Form can display and charge for them. Create your products and pricing before adding the order form to the funnel page.
Open the Funnel Step
Go to Sites.
Select Funnels.
Open the funnel you want to edit.
Select the funnel step where the order form will be added.
Add Products to the Funnel Step
Open the Products tab.
Click + Add Product.
Select or Create a Product
Use the Products dropdown to select the product you want to sell. To create a new product, click the inline link under the product selector.
Configure Product Name and Price Display
Enter or confirm the product details. You can use:
Product name to control the product name shown on the order form.
Price display override to customize how the price appears on the order form.
Configure Additional Product Options
Open Additional Options to control how the product behaves on the order form.
You can:
Mark the item as a Main Product
Allow multiple quantities
Set the maximum units per order
Mark the item as a Bump Product
Add the Two-Step Order Form Element
Open the funnel page editor.
Click the + icon in the top-left toolbar.
Search for or locate Order Elements.
Select 2 Step Order.
Drag the element into the page design.
Configure Step 1
Step 1 collects the customer’s contact and shipping information. In the Two Step Order element settings:
Open Form Options.
Select Step #1.
Configure the Step 1 headline, sub-headline, visible fields, required fields, and button text.
Configure Step 2
Step 2 collects payment information and completes the order. In the Two Step Order element settings:
Open Form Options.
Select Step #2.
Configure the Step 2 headline, sub-headline, item labels, price labels, summary labels, and button text.
Configure Checkout Options
Use the checkout option sections to control what buyers see during checkout.
Available options may include:
Main product options
Cart mode
Product description
Pricing information
Order bump options
Coupon options
Terms and conditions
Style the Order Form
Use the Color settings to match the order form to your brand. You can adjust:
Button color
Button text color
Input background color
Preview and Publish the Funnel Step
Before publishing, preview the order form and complete a test review of the checkout experience. When the form is ready, click Publish.
Common Issues and Fixes
Products do not appear in the order form
Products must be added under the Products tab for the same funnel step.
Also confirm the product has at least one price attached.
Customers cannot buy multiple quantities
Open the product’s Additional Options, enable multiple quantities, and set the maximum units per order.
The order form is not ready to accept payment
Confirm that the product, price, and payment settings are configured before publishing the funnel step.
The order form design does not match the page
Open the element settings and adjust the color options for the button, button text, and input background.
