Overview
LinkedIn Carousel posts use PDF documents to display multiple pages users can swipe through. The Social Planner supports:
Uploading an existing PDF and posting it as a carousel
Uploading multiple images and converting them into a single PDF document
Both methods publish as a LinkedIn document (carousel-style) post.
Step 1: Access the Social Planner
Navigate to Marketing → Social Planner from your account dashboard.
Step 2: Select Your LinkedIn Account
Choose the LinkedIn profile or page where the post will be published.
You must select at least one active LinkedIn account before posting.
Step 3: Create a New Post
Start a new post from the Social Planner.
Click New Post → Create New Post to open the post composer.
Step 4: Upload a PDF or Images
In the post composer, add media using one of the following methods:
Upload a PDF (PDF to Carousel)
Upload a PDF file
Each page is converted into a carousel slide automatically
Upload Images (Images to PDF)
Upload multiple images
Enable Post photos as a PDF document under LinkedIn options
The preview updates to show how the carousel will appear on LinkedIn.
Step 5: Customize the Post
Before publishing, you can:
Edit the post caption
Rename the PDF document
Remove individual pages or images
Add watermarks for branding
All changes apply before the post is published.
Step 6: Publish or Schedule the Post
Choose how and when the post should go live.
Available options:
Post Now: Publish immediately
Schedule Post: Select a future date and time
Save for later: Keep as a draft
Platform Limits and Notes
LinkedIn supports up to 300 pages per PDF
Maximum file size is 100 MB
Unsupported or oversized files must be adjusted before publishing
Common Issues and Fixes
Post cannot be published
Ensure a LinkedIn account is selected and the PDF meets size requirements.
PDF option is unavailable
Confirm that LinkedIn is selected as a destination platform.
Images appear cropped on other platforms
Non-LinkedIn platforms may resize images to fit their aspect ratios.
