Watermark Posts in the Social Planner

Social Planner lets you create a single reusable watermark and apply it to images and videos when publishing social posts.

Access Watermark Settings

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner.

  2. Open Settings using either method:

    • Click Settings in the top navigation

    • Click the gear icon in the top-right corner

Open the Watermark Section

  1. In Social Planner Settings, select the Watermark tab.

  2. Click + Add watermark.

If no watermark exists, the page displays an empty state prompting you to add one.

Create a Watermark

  1. In the Create Watermark modal:

    • Enter a Watermark name (maximum 30 characters).

    • Upload a watermark image.

  2. Image requirements:

    • Format: PNG or JPG

    • Minimum size: 200 Γ— 200 px

    • Maximum file size: 5 MB

Customize Watermark Appearance

You can adjust the following settings before saving:

  • Alignment: Choose where the watermark appears on the media

  • Opacity: Control transparency

  • Scale: Adjust watermark size

  • Auto padding: Add spacing so the watermark does not stick to the edges

These settings apply to all posts using the watermark.

Create a Post with a Watermark

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner.

  2. Click + New Post.

  3. Select Create New Post.

Apply the Watermark to a Post

  1. In the post composer, scroll to Advanced options.

  2. Toggle Apply Watermark on or off.

Watermark Behavior

  • Watermark is enabled by default

  • Can be turned off per post

  • Applies to images and videos

  • Only one watermark is supported at a time

  • The same watermark applies across all connected social accounts

Common Issues and Fixes

Watermark not appearing on a post

  • Confirm Apply Watermark is enabled in Advanced options

  • Ensure the post contains media (text-only posts do not show watermarks)

Upload fails

  • Check image format (PNG or JPG)

  • Ensure file size is under 5 MB

  • Confirm minimum dimensions are met

Need to change the watermark

  • Update the watermark image in the Watermark settings

  • Changes apply to future posts only
