Using the Social Planner

Social Planner lets you connect social media accounts, create and schedule posts, manage media, and track performance from one centralized dashboard.

Accessing the Social Planner

  1. Go to Marketing in Kyrios.

  2. Click Social Planner.

Supported Social Networks

You can connect and post to the following platforms:

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • Threads

  • Google Business Profile (GBP)

  • LinkedIn

  • TikTok

  • YouTube

  • Pinterest

  • Community

  • Bluesky

Opening Social Planner Settings

Use Settings to manage integrations, categories, watermarks, and global behavior.

  1. In Social Planner, click Settings.

Connecting Social Media Accounts

Start a New Connection

  1. Go to Settings → Social Accounts.

  2. Click + Connect Social.

Grant Platform Permissions

  1. Review the permissions requested.

  2. Click Allow to continue.

Select Profiles or Pages

  1. Choose one or more profiles or pages.

  2. Click Add or Allow to complete the connection.

Managing Connected Accounts

View Connected Accounts

  • Filter accounts by All, Active, or Expired.

Remove an Account

  • Click the trash icon to disconnect an account.

Expired Account Alerts

  • Expired connections display a warning with a Re-integrate option.

Navigating the Planner Dashboard

Planner Views

  • Switch between List View and Calendar View.

  • Toggle between Month and Week layouts.

Filter Views

  • Use Filter Views to quickly locate posts or create custom views.

Creating a New Post

Start a Post

  1. Click + New Post.

  2. Choose how you want to create content.

Select Social Accounts

  • Choose one or multiple connected accounts.

Write Content and Preview

  • Enter your post text.

  • Preview appears on the right for each platform.

Posting Options

You can:

  • Post Now

  • Schedule Post

  • Send for Approval

  • Schedule Recurring Posts

  • Save for Later

Media Upload and Preview

Upload Media

  • Upload images or videos directly into the post composer.

Media Optimization

Global Media Optimization

  • Enabled by default under Settings → Global Settings.

Post-Level Media Optimization

  • Toggle Media Optimization directly inside the composer if needed.

Using Custom Values

Custom values allow dynamic fields such as names or dates.

  1. Click the tag icon in the composer.

  2. Select a custom value.

Tagging Locations

Add a Location Tag

  1. Click the location icon in the composer.

  2. Search and select a location.

  3. Click Save.

Reauthentication Prompt

  • If required, reauthenticate to enable location tagging.

Using @Mentions

Tag Public Profiles

  • Type @ followed by the profile name on supported platforms.

@Mentions are not supported in CSV uploads.

Error and Warning Management

Fix Posting Errors

  • Errors appear in red at the bottom of the composer.

  • Click the error to jump directly to the issue.

Categories

Create Categories

  1. Go to Settings → Categories.

  2. Click + Add new category.

Assign Categories to Posts

  • Select a category during post creation.

Watermark Management

Create and Assign Watermarks

  1. Go to Settings → Watermark.

  2. Upload a watermark and select accounts.

Statistics and Performance

View Post Performance

The Statistics tab shows:

  • Posts

  • Likes

  • Followers

  • Impressions

  • Comments

Unsupported Platforms

  • X (formerly Twitter) is no longer supported.

Advanced Post Customization

Customize Per Channel

  • Enable Customize for each channel to tailor content.

Platform-Specific Formats

  • Choose Feed, Reel, or Story where available.

Common Issues and Fixes

Post Fails to Publish

  • Check for expired accounts.

  • Resolve media or permission errors.

  • Fix issues and reschedule.

Location Tag Not Available

  • Reauthenticate the account when prompted.

Media Appears Cropped

  • Disable Media Optimization for that post if needed.

How do I connect social media accounts?

Go to Social Planner → Settings → Connect Social and follow the prompts.

Can I connect multiple accounts from the same platform?

Yes. Multiple pages or profiles can be connected.

Can I schedule posts for later?

Yes. Choose Schedule Post during post creation.

How do I preview posts?

Use the right-side preview panel for each platform.

Can I tag locations and @mention profiles?

Yes, on supported platforms with proper permissions.

How do I manage watermarks?

Go to Settings → Watermark to create and assign watermarks.

What happens if a scheduled post fails?

A red error indicator appears. Click it to view details and reschedule.
