Using the Image Editor in the Social Media Planner

The Image Editor in the Social Media Planner allows you to crop, enhance, filter, and adjust images directly inside Kyrios before publishing or scheduling a social post.

This article is for users who:

  • Create or schedule social posts inside the Social Media Planner.

  • Want to edit images without leaving Kyrios.

  • Need correct image sizes for different social platforms.

  • Want consistent visual quality across posts.

Use this feature before posting or scheduling content.

Accessing the Image Editor

To access the Image Editor:

  1. Go to Marketing from the left navigation.

  2. Click Social Planner.

  3. Click + New Post.

Adding an Image to a Social Post

  1. In the New Social Post composer, select the social account(s).

  2. Enter your post caption.

  3. Upload one or more images using the media uploader.

A live preview appears on the right side.

Opening the Image Editor

  1. Hover over an uploaded image in the post composer.

  2. Click Edit on the image thumbnail.

This opens the Image Editor modal.

Cropping and Resizing Images

Use cropping tools to match platform-specific dimensions.

Available options include:

  • Custom crop

  • Instagram presets

    • Square (1:1)

    • Landscape (1.91:1)

    • Portrait (4:5)

    • Story (9:16)

Drag the crop handles or select a preset, then reposition as needed.

Applying Filters

Use filters to change the overall look and tone of your image.

Available filter groups include:

  • Duotone

  • Black & White

  • Vintage

  • Cold

  • Warm

Click a filter to preview it instantly.

Adjusting Image Settings

Use sliders to fine-tune image details.

Available adjustments include:

  • Brightness

  • Contrast

  • Saturation

  • Blur

Changes apply in real time. You can reset or undo adjustments before saving.

Saving Changes

  1. Click Save in the Image Editor.

  2. The edited image replaces the original in your post.

  3. Choose Post, Schedule, or Save for later.

Edits are applied only to that post image and do not alter the original file in Media Storage.

Common Issues and Fixes

Image looks cropped incorrectly
Reopen the Image Editor and select a different preset or adjust the crop manually.

Edits did not apply
Make sure you clicked Save inside the Image Editor before posting.

Wrong image size for platform
Use the correct preset (e.g., Story 9:16 for stories, Square 1:1 for feeds).
