Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this guide if you need to fix spelling errors, update text, change links, or adjust recipients for an email campaign that has not yet executed.

This applies only to campaigns that are scheduled but not currently executing.

What You Will Need

  • An email campaign that is one of the following:

    • Simple Schedule

    • RSS

    • Scheduled (before the next execution date)

Campaigns that are already executing may not reflect changes in time.

Step 1: Open the Campaign Edit Options

  1. Locate the email campaign in the Email Campaigns list.

  2. Click the three dots next to the campaign.

  3. Select Update Email Content.

This opens the email editor for the existing campaign.

Step 2: Edit the Email Content

  1. Make changes to the email details, including:

    • Text or copy

    • Links

    • Email elements or layout

  2. Review your updates carefully.

  3. Save your changes.

Saving stores the updated version of the email content.

Step 3: Resend or Reschedule the Campaign

  1. After saving, select Send or Schedule.

  2. Confirm:

    • Updated recipients (if changed)

    • Updated send time (if rescheduled)

This step is required for the updated content to be applied.

Important Timing Notice

Changes to an ongoing email campaign are not guaranteed to be applied before the next execution if the campaign is close to sending.

Edits should always be made as early as possible before the scheduled execution time.

Pause and Cancel Options for Scheduled Email Campaigns

Pausing or canceling a campaign allows you to stop delivery before execution so you can make changes or prevent emails from sending.

How to Pause or Cancel a Campaign

  1. Locate the email campaign in the list.

  2. Click the three dots next to the campaign.

  3. Select Pause or Cancel.

Pause vs. Cancel Behavior

  • Pause

    • Temporarily stops remaining emails from sending.

    • Can be resumed later.

  • Cancel

    • Permanently stops the campaign.

    • Cannot be undone.

Campaigns must be paused or canceled before execution time. If execution has already started, behavior depends on how many emails have already been sent.
