How to Use the Orders Tab in the Payments Section

The Orders tab in the Payments section provides a complete, searchable record of all orders, including completed, pending, canceled, and abandoned checkouts, with export and partial payment support.

Who This Is For / When to Use

This article is for business owners, finance teams, and operators who need to:

  • Review historical order data for accounting or reporting

  • Track order status and payment sources

  • Export order data for external analysis

  • Monitor abandoned checkouts and recover lost revenue

  • Collect partial payments on one-time products

What the Orders Tab Is

The Orders tab is a centralized view of all order records associated with your account.

Each order remains permanently available for financial and tax records, even if the original product, funnel, or website is deleted.

Accessing the Orders Tab

  1. Navigate to Payments from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Orders at the top of the Payments section.

The Orders table loads immediately with filtering, sorting, and export options.

What You Can See in the Orders List

Each order record can be filtered, sorted, and searched using the following dimensions.

Order Status

You can filter orders by status:

  • All

  • Pending

  • Completed

  • Canceled

This helps identify unpaid, successful, or voided transactions quickly.

Payment Mode

You can filter orders by payment environment:

  • All

  • Live mode

  • Test mode

This is useful for separating real transactions from testing activity.

Order Source

You can filter orders by where they originated:

  • Funnel

  • Website

  • Membership

This allows performance tracking by sales channel.

Date Range Filtering

You can search for orders within a specific date range, such as:

  • January 1, 2024 – January 31, 2024

This is commonly used for monthly reconciliation and reporting

Customizing and Sorting the Orders Table

  • Columns can be customized to control which data appears.

  • The table is sortable by column headers.

  • Search is available to locate specific orders quickly.

Each customization applies instantly to the visible dataset.

Exporting Orders to CSV or Excel

You can export the Orders table at any time.

How to Export

  1. Go to Payments β†’ Orders.

  2. Click the Download icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select the export format.

What the Export Includes

Order exports include:

  • Item name

  • Quantity

  • Price

  • Discount

  • Subtotal

  • Total

  • Currency (numeric, no symbols)

  • Product ID

  • Price ID

  • Tax name and tax amount (if applicable)

Important Notes:

  • The field previously labeled Amount is now labeled Total for consistency.

  • Currency symbols are removed to ensure clean numeric values for analysis.

Abandoned Checkouts in the Orders Tab

The Orders tab includes a dedicated Abandoned Checkouts view for tracking incomplete purchases.

Accessing Abandoned Checkouts

  1. Go to Payments.

  2. Select Orders.

  3. Open the Abandoned Checkouts dropdown.

What You Can See in Abandoned Checkouts

Each abandoned checkout record includes:

  • Customer details

  • Items added to the cart

  • Email notification status

  • Recovery status (if completed later)

Email Notification Status

Each abandoned checkout displays whether an automated notification was sent.

To configure abandoned checkout notifications:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Notifications.

  3. Adjust abandoned checkout email settings.

Recovered Orders

If a customer completes a previously abandoned checkout:

  • The order is automatically marked as Recovered

  • This provides visibility into successful recovery efforts

Partial Payment Support via Orders

The Orders tab supports collecting partial payments for one-time products.

How Partial Payments Work

  • A partial payment can be collected after an order record exists.

  • The Collect Payment button appears on the Order Details page.

  • Payments can be collected using:

    • Manual payment methods

    • Card on file

    • A new card

Supported Products

  • One-time products only (including calendar bookings)

  • Subscription products are not supported

Example Use Case

A customer orders a custom product priced at $500.

  • $100 is collected as a deposit at checkout

  • The remaining $400 is collected later using the Order Details page

Data Permanence and Order History

Order records are permanent financial entries.

  • Deleting a funnel, website, or product does not delete order history

  • All historical orders remain available for accounting and compliance purposes

No. Partial payments are currently supported only for one-time products.

If I delete a product or funnel, will the order history be deleted?

No. Order history is permanent and remains available for financial and tax records.
