Using the Transactions Tab in Payments

The Transactions tab provides a centralized, searchable, and exportable view of all payment activity for your account.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use the Transactions tab if you need to:

  • Review payment history for accounting or reconciliation

  • Track sales, refunds, and payment activity

  • Verify transaction details such as payment method or card data

  • Export transaction data for reporting or analysis

How to Access the Transactions Tab

  1. Navigate to Payments.

  2. Select Transactions.

This opens a full list of all transactions associated with your account.

Transactions List Overview

The Transactions list displays all payment activity in a single table view.

From this view, you can:

  • See a complete history of transactions

  • Sort transactions by column values

  • Search for specific transactions

  • Filter transactions by multiple criteria

  • Export transaction data

Each row represents a single transaction.

Filtering and Searching Transactions

You can narrow down the Transactions list using filters and search tools.

Available Filters

  • Status (for example: completed, refunded)

  • Payment Mode

  • Source Type

Date Range Search

  • Filter transactions by a specific date range

  • Example: January 1, 2022 – January 31, 2022

Transaction Search

Search for a specific transaction using:

  • Customer ID

  • Customer name

  • Email address

  • Transaction ID

  • Source ID

  • Source name

Filters can be combined and adjusted at any time.

Customizing the Transactions Table

You can customize what information appears in the Transactions list.

This allows you to:

  • Show only the data fields you need

  • Hide unnecessary columns

  • Sort the list based on your workflow

Changes apply only to your view and do not affect other users.

Viewing Transaction Details

To view detailed information for a specific transaction:

  1. Go to Payments.

  2. Select Transactions.

  3. Open the transaction and choose View Details.

The Transaction Details view provides a clear breakdown of:

  • Payment method

  • Card brand (if applicable)

  • Last four digits of the card (if available)

  • Card expiration date (if available)

  • Transaction history

  • Cancellation date (if applicable)

  • End date (if applicable)

  • Total number of completed payments

If certain data is unavailable, the system displays a fallback message instead of leaving the field blank.

Exporting Transactions

You can export transaction data for external use.

How to Export

  1. Open Payments > Transactions.

  2. Select the Export button in the top-right corner.

The export downloads an Excel (CSV) file.

Included Export Fields

The CSV export includes key transaction details such as:

  • Payment method

  • Currency

  • Subtotal

  • Discounts

  • Tax amounts

  • Late fees

  • Tips

  • Coupon codes

  • Refund information

This export is commonly used for accounting, reporting, and performance analysis.

Common Issues and Fixes

Transactions Are Missing From the List

  • Confirm the correct date range is selected

  • Remove filters to ensure results are not being excluded

  • Verify the transaction was completed successfully

Export File Is Incomplete

  • Ensure filters are set correctly before exporting

  • Re-export after refreshing the Transactions page
