How Recurring Scheduling Works

Recurring scheduling creates multiple scheduled instances of the same post over a defined date range.

You can:

  • Repeat posts by days, weeks, months, or years

  • Set a specific posting time

  • View and manage all recurring posts in Calendar view

Open the Social Planner

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner.

  2. Use Filter Views to manage or create custom views for scheduled or recurring posts.

Create a New Post

  1. Click + New Post.

  2. Select Create New Post.

Choose Recurring Scheduling

After creating your post content and selecting social accounts:

  1. Click the Post dropdown.

  2. Select Schedule Recurring Posts.

Configure the Recurring Schedule

In the Schedule Recurring Post modal:

  1. Set Repeat Every:

    • Days, Weeks, Months, or Years

    • If Weeks is selected, specific days must also be chosen

  2. Select the Post Time.

  3. Define the Date Range.

The system shows the first execution date and time before scheduling.

View Recurring Posts in Calendar View

  1. Switch to Calendar view using the calendar icon.

  2. All scheduled and recurring posts appear on the calendar.

Manage Recurring Posts from the Calendar

From Calendar view, you can:

  • Open a post menu

  • View, Edit, Clone, or Delete an individual scheduled instance

  • Drag and drop a post to reschedule a single occurrence

Editing one instance does not update the entire recurring series.

Benefits of Recurring Scheduling

  • Consistent posting: Keep evergreen content active automatically

  • Long-term planning: Schedule content months or years ahead

  • Central visibility: See all recurring posts in one calendar

  • Flexible control: Adjust individual scheduled posts as needed

Common Issues and Fixes

Post not repeating

  • Confirm that Schedule Recurring Posts was selected instead of Schedule Post

  • Check that the date range includes future dates

Wrong posting days

  • Weekly schedules require selecting specific days

  • Edit the recurring rule and resave

Only one post edited

  • Calendar edits apply to single instances, not the full series
