Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this feature if you:

  • Host meetings using Microsoft Teams

  • Want meeting links generated automatically

  • Manage personal, round-robin, or service calendars

  • Need Teams links included in booking confirmations


What the Microsoft Teams Integration Does

Once connected, Microsoft Teams becomes available as a meeting location in Kyrios calendars.

Key outcomes:

  • A unique Teams link is generated for every booking

  • Links are automatically added to calendar invites

  • Each user connects their own Microsoft Teams account


Connect Your Microsoft Teams Account

Follow these steps to connect Microsoft Teams for video conferencing.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > My Profile > Calendar Settings.

  2. Open the Video Conferencing tab.

  3. Click Add New.

  4. Select Microsoft Teams and click Connect.

  5. When prompted, sign in using your Microsoft Teams credentials and approve access.

  6. After authentication, your Microsoft Teams account is connected successfully.

You can also access this flow from Calendars > Calendar Settings > Connections.


Add Microsoft Teams as a Meeting Location

After connecting Teams, you must assign it to a calendar.

Steps

  1. Go to Calendars > Calendar Settings.

  2. Edit the calendar you want to update.

  3. Open the Meeting Details tab.

  4. Scroll to the Team Members section.

  5. Select a team member with Microsoft Teams connected.

  6. Choose Microsoft Teams as the meeting location.

  7. Click Save.

Once saved:

  • Every new booking generates a unique Teams link

  • The link is included in the calendar invite automatically


Managing Multiple Calendars and Team Members

Microsoft Teams can be used across different calendar types.

Supported setups include:

  • Personal Booking calendars

  • Round Robin calendars

  • Collective calendars

  • Service calendars

Each team member:

  • Connects their own Microsoft Teams account

  • Can be assigned as the default meeting host


Important Notes

  • Connecting an Outlook calendar does not automatically connect Microsoft Teams.

  • Microsoft Teams must be connected separately under Video Conferencing.

  • Only Work and School (Organization/Education) Microsoft Teams accounts are supported.

  • Only one Microsoft Teams account can be connected per account.

  • The same Teams account can be reused across multiple accounts if assigned to the same user.

Which calendars support Microsoft Teams integration?

Personal Booking, Round Robin, Collective, and Service calendars support dynamic Teams links. Event calendars require a manually added static link.

Do I need to reconnect Teams if I integrate Outlook?

Yes. Outlook and Microsoft Teams integrations are separate and must both be connected.

Can I connect multiple Microsoft Teams accounts?

Each user can connect one Microsoft Teams account per account. The same Teams account can be reused across multiple accounts.

What happens if I change my Microsoft Teams credentials?

You may need to re-authenticate the integration to restore automatic link generation.

Are Teams links added to calendar invites automatically?
