Who This Is For / When to Use

Use the Personal Booking Calendar if you:

  • Schedule one-on-one meetings only

  • Need a dedicated calendar for individual bookings

  • Want a simple setup without multi-user routing

  • Require a shareable booking link for personal availability

What the Personal Booking Calendar Is

The Personal Booking Calendar is a calendar type built specifically for 1:1 appointments.

Key characteristics:

  • Supports one assigned team member only

  • Automatically assigns the calendar creator as the default user

  • Generates a single booking link for personal scheduling

  • Includes availability rules, buffers, notifications, and integrations

Unlike Round Robin or Collective calendars, this calendar does not distribute bookings across multiple users.

How the Personal Booking Calendar Works

When a Personal Booking Calendar is created:

  • One team member is assigned to the calendar

  • Bookers select from that user’s available time slots

  • Each booking is added to the user’s connected calendar

  • The booking link can be shared publicly or embedded

Create a Personal Booking Calendar

Steps

  1. Go to Calendars > Calendar Settings.

  2. Click + New Calendar.

  3. Select Personal Booking as the calendar type.

  1. Configure the following required settings:

    • Availability

    • Meeting duration

    • Buffer time

    • Time zone

  2. Click Save to generate your booking link.

Booking Link Behavior

Once saved:

  • A unique booking link is created

  • Contacts can book directly based on your availability

  • Confirmed bookings appear in the Appointment List View

The booking link reflects:

  • Your availability rules

  • Connected calendar availability

  • Active integrations (if enabled)

Integrations and Availability Sync

The Personal Booking Calendar supports:

  • Google Calendar integration

  • Outlook calendar integration

  • Video conferencing integrations (for example, Zoom or Google Meet)

When a connected calendar shows a Busy event:

  • That time is blocked automatically

  • Double-booking is prevented

Limitations and Rules

  • Only one team member can be assigned

  • Bookings are not distributed across users

  • This calendar type is not intended for:

    • Group bookings

    • Class bookings

    • Multi-user availability routing

To distribute bookings across multiple users, use a Round Robin calendar instead.
