What the Personal Booking Calendar Is
The Personal Booking Calendar is a calendar type built specifically for 1:1 appointments.
Key characteristics:
Supports one assigned team member only
Automatically assigns the calendar creator as the default user
Generates a single booking link for personal scheduling
Includes availability rules, buffers, notifications, and integrations
Unlike Round Robin or Collective calendars, this calendar does not distribute bookings across multiple users.
How the Personal Booking Calendar Works
When a Personal Booking Calendar is created:
One team member is assigned to the calendar
Bookers select from that user’s available time slots
Each booking is added to the user’s connected calendar
The booking link can be shared publicly or embedded
Create a Personal Booking Calendar
Steps
Go to Calendars > Calendar Settings.
Click + New Calendar.
Select Personal Booking as the calendar type.
Configure the following required settings:
Availability
Meeting duration
Buffer time
Time zone
Click Save to generate your booking link.
Booking Link Behavior
Once saved:
A unique booking link is created
Contacts can book directly based on your availability
Confirmed bookings appear in the Appointment List View
The booking link reflects:
Your availability rules
Connected calendar availability
Active integrations (if enabled)
