This guide explains how to forward calls from your existing phone number (mobile or landline) to your Kyrios phone number so Kyrios Voice AI and call tracking can handle incoming calls.

This article is for account owners and users who want to:

  • Keep their existing public phone number active.

  • Route incoming calls into Kyrios for Voice AI, call logging, and automation.

  • Avoid changing phone numbers on websites, ads, or directories.


Why Forward Calls to Kyrios

Forwarding calls to Kyrios allows all inbound calls to be managed centrally inside your account.

Key benefits:

  • Keep your existing number: No need to update business cards, ads, or listings.

  • Voice AI handling: Calls can be answered, routed, transcribed, or automated.

  • Centralized tracking: Calls are logged to contacts and available for workflows.

  • Missed-call automation: Missed calls can trigger SMS, tasks, or follow-ups.


How Call Forwarding Works

Once call forwarding is enabled:

  • Calls to your personal or business phone number are redirected to your Kyrios phone number.

  • Kyrios handles the call using VOIP, routing rules, or Voice AI.

  • Call activity is logged in the CRM and Conversations inbox.

Forwarding can be configured as:

  • All Calls: Every call is forwarded.

  • Conditional Forwarding: Only missed, busy, or unreachable calls are forwarded.


Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • An active Kyrios phone number assigned to your account.

  • Access to the phone you want to forward calls from.

  • Carrier support for call forwarding (most carriers support this).


Call Forwarding Setup by Carrier

Verizon Wireless

Forward all calls

  1. Dial *72 followed by your Kyrios phone number.

  2. Press Call and wait for the confirmation tone.

Forward missed or busy calls

  1. Dial *71 followed by your Kyrios phone number.

  2. Press Call and wait for confirmation.

Turn off forwarding

  • Dial *73.


AT&T (Mobile)

  1. Dial *21 followed by your Kyrios phone number.

  2. Press Call/Send.

  3. Wait for the confirmation tone.

Turn off forwarding

  • Dial #21#.


AT&T (Business Lines)

  1. Dial *72 and wait for a dial tone.

  2. Enter your Kyrios phone number.

  3. Wait for confirmation.

Turn off forwarding

  • Dial *73.


T-Mobile

Forward all calls

  1. Dial **21*1 + your Kyrios phone number + #.

  2. Press Call.

Forward missed calls

  1. Dial **61*1 + your Kyrios phone number + #.

  2. Press Call.

Turn off forwarding

  • Dial ##21# (all calls) or ##61# (missed calls).


Xfinity Mobile

Forward all calls

  1. Dial *72 + your Kyrios phone number.

  2. Press Call and wait for confirmation.

Forward missed calls

  1. Dial *71 + your Kyrios phone number.

  2. Press Call.

Turn off forwarding

  • Dial *73.


Spectrum Mobile

Forward all calls

  1. Dial *72 + your Kyrios phone number.

  2. Press Call and wait for confirmation.

Forward missed calls

  1. Dial *71 + your Kyrios phone number.

  2. Press Call.

Turn off forwarding

  • Dial *73.


Other Carriers

If your carrier is not listed:

Forward all calls

  • Dial *72 + your Kyrios phone number.

Forward missed calls

  • Dial *92 + your Kyrios phone number.

Turn off forwarding

  • Dial *73 (all calls) or *93 (missed calls).

If these codes do not work, contact your carrier directly for their exact call forwarding codes.


Common Issues and Fixes

Call forwarding does not activate

  • Re-enter the forwarding code carefully.

  • Make sure the Kyrios phone number is correct.

  • Confirm your carrier supports call forwarding on your plan.


No confirmation tone

  • This usually means forwarding was not enabled.

  • Try again and wait several seconds after dialing.

  • If the issue persists, contact your carrier.


Calls still go to personal voicemail

  • Use conditional forwarding instead of full forwarding.

  • Disable voicemail on the original phone if needed.

  • Confirm Kyrios voicemail or Voice AI is enabled.


FAQ

Can I forward multiple phone numbers to one Kyrios phone number?

Yes. Any number that supports call forwarding can forward to the same Kyrios phone number.


Will callers know their call is being forwarded?

No. Call forwarding happens silently in the background.


Can I still make outbound calls from my original number?

Yes. Call forwarding only affects incoming calls.


Does call forwarding work internationally?

This depends on your carrier and phone plan. Check with your carrier for international forwarding support.


What happens to voicemail?

When a call is forwarded, voicemail is handled by Kyrios unless you configure it differently.


Can I change the forwarding destination later?

Yes. Simply repeat the forwarding steps using a different Kyrios phone number.


How does Kyrios Voice AI handle forwarded calls?

Once the call reaches Kyrios, Voice AI can greet callers, answer questions using your knowledge base, route calls, book appointments, and provide full call transcripts.


What happens if my phone is on Do Not Disturb?

If you use conditional forwarding, calls will immediately forward to Kyrios when your phone is busy, unreachable, or on Do Not Disturb.

Standardize call forwarding during onboarding so all inbound calls route into Kyrios for consistent tracking, Voice AI coverage, and missed-call automation.
