How to Set Up an RSS Feed for Blogs

RSS feeds allow you to automatically distribute published blog content from Kyrios to other platforms like email campaigns, social media, or external RSS readers.

Accessing Blog RSS Settings

  1. Open Sites from the left navigation.

  2. Click Blogs at the top.

  3. In the Blogs dashboard, click the Settings (gear icon) in the top-right corner.

Opening the RSS Tab

  1. Inside Blog Settings, select the RSS tab.

  2. This section displays all existing RSS feeds for your account.

Adding a New RSS Feed

  1. Click + Add RSS Feed.

  2. In the RSS Feed Name field, enter a recognizable name for the feed.

  3. In Select Blog, choose a blog that is Live.

    • Draft blogs cannot be selected.

  4. Click the blog name to associate it with the RSS feed.

Configuring RSS Feed Options

  1. Set the number of Posts to control how many blog posts appear in the feed.

    • Maximum allowed: 100 posts

  2. Enable or disable Load Full Content in RSS Feed:

    • Enabled: Full blog content is included.

    • Disabled: Only summaries are included for faster loading.

  3. Copy the generated RSS URL if you plan to use it externally.

  4. Click Add to save the RSS feed.

RSS Feed Behavior Rules

  • Only Live blog posts appear in RSS feeds.

  • Draft blogs and draft posts are excluded.

  • Each RSS feed is tied to a single blog.

  • Multiple RSS feeds can be created for different blogs or categories.

Common Issues and Fixes

RSS feed is empty

  • Confirm the selected blog is Live.

  • Confirm the blog contains published posts.

Blog not visible in the Select Blog dropdown

  • Draft blogs do not appear.

  • Publish the blog before creating an RSS feed.

RSS feed updates are not appearing immediately

  • RSS readers may cache results.

  • Allow time for external platforms to refresh the feed.
