Automatically publish new content from any valid RSS or Atom feed to connected social channels using Social Planner → RSS Posts.

Important Limitations

  • Posting to X (formerly Twitter) using RSS is not supported due to API restrictions.

  • All other supported Social Planner networks can be used.

Prerequisites

  • A valid RSS or Atom feed URL.

  • At least one social account connected in
    Marketing → Social Planner → Settings
    (for example: Facebook Page, Instagram Business, LinkedIn Profile/Page, Google Business Profile, Pinterest).

How to Find an RSS Feed URL

Most websites still provide RSS feeds, even if they are not visible on the page.

Common RSS Feed Formats

  • WordPress sites:
    Add /feed to the site URL
    Example: https://example.com/feed

  • Tumblr sites:
    Add /rss
    Example: https://example.tumblr.com/rss

  • Blogger sites:
    Add feeds/posts/default
    Example: example.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

  • Medium publications:
    Insert /feed/ before the publication name
    Example: medium.com/feed/example-site

  • YouTube channels:
    The channel URL can be used directly as an RSS feed.

Finding RSS via Page Source

If the feed is not obvious:

  1. Right-click on the webpage.

  2. Select View Page Source.

  3. Press Ctrl + F (Windows) or Command + F (Mac).

  4. Search for rss or atom.

  5. Copy the RSS feed URL from the highlighted result.

How to Create Social Posts Using an RSS Feed

Step 1: Open RSS Posts in Social Planner

  1. Go to Marketing → Social Planner.

  2. Click New Post.

  3. Select RSS Posts.

Step 2: Add the RSS Feed URL

  1. Paste your RSS feed URL into the RSS feed URL field.

Step 3: Choose Social Accounts

  1. Select one or more social accounts where posts should be published.

  2. You can create groups or add new social accounts if needed.

Step 4: Add Optional Ending Text

  1. Use End with to append text, hashtags, or links to every post.

  2. This text appears after the feed content.

Step 5: Set Feed Check Frequency

  1. Choose how often Kyrios checks the RSS feed for new content.

  2. Available options range from every 15 minutes to once per day.

Step 6: Set Maximum Posts Per Update

  1. Choose how many new items are published each time the feed is checked.

  2. Minimum: 1, Maximum: 5.

  3. Each feed item is published once only as a separate post.

How Posting Behavior Works

  • Only new RSS items are published.

  • Existing or previously published items are not reposted.

  • If no new content is found, no post is published.

  • Each feed item results in a single social post.

FAQ

Can I change the posting frequency later?

Yes. Edit the RSS post to change the feed check frequency or maximum posts per update.

Will the same article be posted multiple times?

No. Each RSS item is published once. If there is no new content, nothing is posted.

Which social networks are supported?

All Social Planner–supported networks except X (formerly Twitter).

Do images appear automatically in RSS posts?

Images depend on the social network’s link preview rules.
For best results, ensure the source page includes a featured image and proper Open Graph tags.
