What Multi-Select Does in Media Storage
Multi-select allows you to select more than one file at a time and apply actions to all selected files simultaneously.
With multi-select, you can:
Select files using checkmarks or drag selection
Move multiple files to folders in one action
Download multiple files at once
Delete multiple files at once
See a live counter of selected files
How to Enter Multi-Select Mode
You can enter multi-select mode in two ways depending on the view.
Grid View Selection
Click and drag across files to select multiple items
Or open the three-dot menu on a file and choose Select
Selected files display a checkmark in the top-left corner
List View Selection
Use the checkbox next to each file to select multiple items
Selected files are highlighted automatically
Performing Bulk Actions
Once files are selected, bulk action controls appear automatically.
Available actions:
Move selected files to a folder
Download selected files
Delete selected files
A counter shows how many files are currently selected.
Drag-and-Drop Folder Moves
When moving files:
Drag selected files onto a folder
The destination folder highlights during hover
All selected files are moved together
This makes large reorganizations faster and more accurate.
Limits and Behavior
You can download up to 100 files at once
Files larger than 2 GB are skipped during bulk download
Large files must be downloaded individually
While in multi-select mode:
Rename is disabled
Get Link is disabled
These restrictions reduce accidental actions during bulk operations.

Bulk Download Skips Some Files
Check if skipped files exceed 2 GB
Download large files individually
Actions Not Appearing
Ensure at least one file is selected
Exit and re-enter multi-select mode if needed
