You can choose any timezone to display appointments across Kyrios without affecting availability, scheduling, or how others book with you.

Who This Is For / When to Use

This feature is for:

  • Users managing appointments across multiple regions

  • Teams working with clients in different timezones

  • Anyone who wants appointment times displayed in a specific reference timezone

Use this when you need clarity on appointment timing without changing booking behavior.

What the View Appointments Timezone Controls

The View Appointments In setting controls display only.

  • It is user-specific

  • It affects only how you see appointment times

  • It does not change:

    • Availability

    • Booking links

    • Scheduling rules

    • What clients or teammates see

Appointment times are converted automatically to the timezone you select.

Where Appointment Times Are Displayed

Once configured, the selected timezone is used consistently across the platform.

Calendar View

Time labels and appointment blocks are displayed in your selected timezone.

Appointment List View

The Appointment Time column reflects the selected timezone, including rescheduled appointments.

Contacts and Conversations

Appointment timestamps shown in contact records and conversation threads follow the same timezone setting.

This provides a single, consistent reference point when reviewing scheduling history.

How to Set Your Preferred Appointment Timezone

Follow these steps to configure or update your display timezone.

Step 1: Access Calendar Settings

If no calendar is assigned, you’ll see a prompt to go to settings.

Step 2: Open Preferences and Select Timezone

  1. Go to Calendars

  2. Open Calendar Settings

  3. Select Preferences

  4. Locate View Appointments In

  5. Choose your preferred timezone

  6. Click Save Preferences

Changes apply immediately.

What This Does Not Affect

This setting does not change:

  • Your availability hours

  • How clients select time slots

  • Confirmation, reminder, or notification timing

  • Other users’ appointment views

Only your personal display is updated.

Common Issues and Fixes

Appointments appear at a different time than expected

  • Confirm the selected timezone under View Appointments In

  • Refresh the page after saving preferences

Clients see different times than I do

  • This is expected behavior

  • Clients see appointment times in their own context, not your display timezone

Will changing my timezone affect how clients book appointments?

No. This setting only changes how you view appointments.

Can each user choose a different timezone?

Yes. The setting is user-specific and independent for each user.

Does this affect reminders or notifications?

No. Notifications and reminders continue to follow the original appointment logic.

Can I change my timezone frequently?

Yes. You can update the setting at any time from Calendar Preferences.

If I see an appointment time in Conversations, which timezone is it using?

It uses your selected View Appointments In timezone. This applies consistently across Calendar View, Appointment List, Contacts, and Conversations.
