Mobile App: Create Recurring Appointments

This article explains how to create recurring appointments from the Kyrios mobile app using standard or custom recurrence options.

Start a New Appointment from the Mobile App

Open the Quick Action Menu

  1. Open the Kyrios mobile app.

  2. Tap the ⚡ Action (Bolt) icon in the bottom-right corner.

  3. Select Book Appointment.


Select the Contact

  1. From the contact list, select the contact for the appointment.

  2. You can search by name, phone number, or email.


Configure Appointment Basics

Set Calendar, Timezone, and Time

  1. Select the Calendar.

  2. Confirm the Timezone (Account).

  3. Set the Start Time and End Time.


Enable Recurring Event

  1. Toggle Recurring event ON.

  2. Choose between Standard or Custom recurrence.


Standard Recurrence Options

When to Use Standard Recurrence

  • When your calendar already defines acceptable recurrence rules.

  • When you want quick setup with predefined patterns.

Available Standard Options

  • Daily

  • Weekly (for example, weekly on Tuesday)

  • Monthly (for example, last Tuesday of the month)

  • Annually

  • Every weekday (Monday to Friday)


Custom Recurrence

When to Use Custom Recurrence

  • When you need full control over how often the appointment repeats.

  • When no recurring calendar is required.

Configure Custom Recurrence

  1. Tap Custom.

  2. Set Repeat every:

    • Number (for example, every 1)

    • Unit (Day, Week, or Month)

  3. Choose how the recurrence ends:

    • Never

    • On a specific date

    • After a set number of occurrences

  4. Tap Save.


Save the Recurring Appointment

What Happens After Saving

  • All occurrences are created at once.

  • Each occurrence appears as a separate calendar event.

  • One unified meeting link is applied to the entire series.


Important Behavior Notes

Availability Checking

  • Recurring appointments created from the mobile Schedule Appointment screen do not check availability.

  • Events are booked strictly based on the selected recurrence rules.

Meeting Links

  • A single meeting link (Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams) is reused across all occurrences.

Can I create a recurring appointment without a recurring calendar?

Yes. Use Custom Recurrence to manually define the recurrence pattern directly from the Schedule Appointment screen.

Does the system check availability for recurring appointments?

No. Recurring appointments booked from the mobile app do not perform availability checks.

Is a new meeting link generated for each occurrence?

No. One meeting link is used for the entire recurring appointment series.

Can I delete an entire recurring series at once?

Yes. You can delete the full recurring appointment series in a single action from the appointment screen.

Is this feature mobile-only?

No. Recurring appointments can be managed on both mobile and desktop, but this article covers the mobile workflow.
