Use Visitor Data widgets to track funnel views, opt-ins, and appointment activity directly on your dashboards.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this when you want to visualize funnel traffic, conversions, and appointment activity using customizable dashboard widgets.


What Are Visitor Data Widgets

Visitor Data widgets display metrics related to how visitors interact with your funnels and websites, including:

  • Funnel views (total and unique)

  • Opt-ins

  • Funnel performance trends

  • Appointment activity

These widgets help you understand the visitor journey from first view to conversion.


Step 1: Create or Open a Dashboard

  1. Open Dashboards from the main navigation.

  2. Click Add Dashboard to create a new dashboard, or open an existing one.


Step 2: Add a New Widget

  1. Inside the dashboard, click Add Widget.

  2. In the widget selector, stay on the Widgets tab.


Step 3: Select Visitor Data Widgets

  1. Scroll to Visitor Data.

  2. Choose a widget type such as:

    • Unique Funnel Views

    • Total Funnel Views

    • Funnel Views Trend

    • Top Funnels by Unique Views


Step 4: Configure Funnel Views or Unique Funnel Views

Configure the Metric

  1. Set Metric to Count of Page Views.

  2. Use View By to group data (for example, Funnel or Date).

Breakdown for Trend Widgets

For trend widgets:

  1. Set Breakdown to Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly.


Step 5: Apply Conditions to Filter Funnel Data

  1. Open the Conditions tab.

  2. Set Page Type to Funnel.

  3. Select a specific funnel if required.

  4. Set Visitor Scope:

    • Unique for unique visitors

    • All for total visits


Step 6: Add Opt-In Widgets

Select Opt-In Metrics

  1. Add a new widget.

  2. Under Visitor Data, select Total Opt Ins (All Funnels) or funnel-specific opt-in widgets.

Configure Opt-In Metric

  1. Set Metric to Opt Ins.

  2. Set View By to Funnel if comparing funnels.

Apply Conditions

  1. Open Conditions.

  2. Set Page Type to Funnel.

  3. Choose Visitor Scope (Unique or All).


Step 7: Add Top Funnels Widgets

Top Funnels by Unique Views

  1. Add a widget from Visitor Data.

  2. Select Top Funnels by Unique Views.

  3. Set Metric to Page Views or Opt Ins.

  4. Set View By to Funnel.


Step 8: Add Appointment Widgets

Select Appointment Widgets

  1. Add a new widget.

  2. Scroll to Appointments.

  3. Select Appointment Count or Confirmed Appointment Count.

Filter Appointment Data

  1. Open the Conditions tab.

  2. Filter by:

    • Appointment Status (Confirmed, Cancelled, No Show, etc.)

    • Calendar

    • User


Step 9: Choose Chart Types

You can change how data is displayed using chart icons:

  • Number

  • Line

  • Bar

  • Pie

  • Table


Step 10: Save the Widget

  1. Review the configuration.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Resize or reposition the widget on the dashboard as needed.


Common Issues and Fixes

Widget shows "No Data"

Verify that:

  • The selected funnel has traffic

  • The date range includes activity

  • Visitor Scope matches your use case

Funnel not available in conditions

Ensure the funnel exists and has at least one published page.


FAQs

Can I track both funnels and websites on the same dashboard?
Yes. Add separate widgets and set Page Type to Funnel or Website accordingly.

What is the difference between Unique and All visitor scope?
Unique counts each visitor once. All includes repeat visits.

Can I edit widgets after saving?
Yes. Widgets can be edited, resized, or reconfigured at any time.

How do I track only confirmed appointments?
Use Appointment widgets and set Status to Confirmed in Conditions.

Can I compare performance over time?
Yes. Use trend widgets with daily, weekly, or monthly breakdowns.
