FAQs
How do I set up a dashboard using widget suggestions?
Click Add Dashboard, enter a name, and set permissions. Select a goal or choose from Top used widgets to auto-populate the dashboard, or add widgets manually. Confirm your selections to finalize the dashboard.
Can widgets be customized for specific needs?
Yes. Each widget can be customized with metrics, filters, chart types, date ranges, breakdowns, and themes to match individual or team reporting requirements.
Are there limitations on the number of widgets I can add?
There is no strict limit enforced. However, dashboards with a large number of widgets (30 or more) may load more slowly. For best performance, use multiple focused dashboards instead of one large dashboard.
How can I use grouping and filtering effectively?
Use grouping (such as status, tags, users, or sources) to identify patterns, and apply filters to narrow results by date ranges, activities, or specific conditions for more precise analysis.
Can widgets display data from multiple sources?
Some widgets support data from different sources, but availability depends on the widget type and your account’s enabled features. Widgets only display data from the sources they are designed to support.
Are themes only for aesthetics?
No. Themes improve readability and usability by creating visual consistency across widgets, which makes it easier to interpret data—especially on dashboards with multiple widgets.
Can widgets display comparisons between multiple metrics?
Yes. Line, bar, and horizontal bar chart widgets support two metrics. When two metrics are added, you can enable the Comparison option in Advanced Settings to visualize differences or trends between them.
How do I visualize data using different chart types in widgets?
When adding or editing a widget, select a chart type such as number, line, bar, horizontal bar, donut, or table. You can refine how data appears using metrics like Sum, Min, Max, Avg, and Count.
Is there a limit to how many widgets I can have on one dashboard?
There is no hard numerical limit, but performance may degrade with too many widgets. For optimal usability and speed, create multiple dashboards organized by purpose instead of a single, overloaded dashboard.
