Contacts Widgets in the Dashboard

Contacts widgets let you visualize, filter, and analyze contact data directly on dashboards using counts, charts, tables, attribution, and advanced conditions.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use Contacts widgets when you need to:

  • Track contact volume, sources, and engagement

  • Analyze attribution (UTM, source, medium)

  • Monitor assigned contacts per user

  • Build table-based contact reports on dashboards


How to Add a Contacts Widget

Step 1: Open Dashboard Edit Mode

  1. Open your dashboard.

  2. Click Edit Dashboard.


Step 2: Add a New Widget

You can add a widget in either location:

  • Click + Add Widget at the top-right, or

  • Click + Add Widget in the empty dashboard state


Step 3: Select the Contacts Category

  1. In the Add New Widget panel, select Widgets.

  2. Expand Contacts.


Configure a Contacts Widget

Step 4: Choose Chart Type

Select the visualization type:

  • Number

  • Donut

  • Line

  • Bar / Horizontal Bar

  • Table


Step 5: Configure Widget Settings

Available configuration options depend on chart type:

  • Title: Rename the widget

  • Metric: Count of contacts

  • Group (Donut): Segment results (e.g., Medium, Source, Assigned User)

  • View By: Secondary dimension for charts

  • Date Property: Created on / Updated on

  • Date Range Override: Override dashboard date range


Table Chart Configuration

Select Columns (Table Only)

  1. Choose Table as the chart type.

  2. Click Select Columns.

  3. Select the fields you want displayed.

  4. Click Apply Columns.


Advanced Table Settings

  • Order By: Choose the sort column

  • Order: Ascending or Descending

  • Limit: Maximum records displayed

Limit: Table widgets support up to 10,000 records per widget.


Using Conditions (Filters)

Step 6: Add Conditions

  1. Open the Conditions tab.

  2. Click Add condition.

  3. Choose a field, operator, and value.


AND / OR Logic

  • AND: All conditions must match

  • OR: Any condition can match

You can remove a condition using the delete icon.


Attribution & UTM Filters

Attribution on Contacts Widgets

Contacts widgets support attribution-based filtering.

How to Configure Attribution

  1. Open Conditions.

  2. Select Attribution.

  3. Choose First Attribution or Latest Attribution.

  4. Add UTM parameters (Source, Medium, Campaign, Keyword, etc.).

Important:

  • UTM fields appear only when an Attribution type is added.

  • Session Source and Medium are available only with Attribution enabled.


Contact Source Filters

Filter by Contact Source

  1. Open Conditions.

  2. Select Source.

  3. Define source values.

Additional supported filters include:

  • Address

  • Followers

  • Assigned User

  • Country

  • Custom Fields


Save the Widget

Click Save to add the widget to your dashboard.


Contacts Widgets Overview

Available Contacts widgets include:

  • Contacts Count

  • Contacts Count (Logged in User)

  • Contacts by Tags

  • Contacts by Activity

  • Contacts by Type

  • Contacts by Assigned User

  • Contacts by Company Name

  • Contacts with Email / without Email

  • Contacts with Phone Number / without Phone Number

  • Total Contacts Count (Till Date)

  • Total Contacts Count (This Month)

  • Contacts by Source

  • Contacts by Medium

  • Top Sources for Contacts Created


Common Issues and Fixes

Widget Shows No Data

  • Check Conditions filters

  • Confirm Date Property and Date Range

  • Verify Attribution is added when using UTM fields

UTM Fields Not Visible

  • Ensure Attribution (First or Latest) is added in Conditions

Table Save Disabled

  • Remove conflicting filters

  • Ensure at least one column is selected
