Who This Is For / When to Use

Use Business Fields when you need to manage, update, or reference official business information such as your company details, address, or authorized representative across the platform.

What Are Business Fields

Business Fields function similarly to custom fields, but they store information about your business, not your contacts. These fields are populated through the Business Profile and are used across communications, automations, compliance flows, and internal system logic.

Business Fields are managed under: Settings β†’ Business Profile

Where Business Fields Are Used

Business Fields can be dynamically inserted into:

  • Email templates

  • SMS and other messaging

  • Workflow actions

  • System-generated communications

They ensure consistent business information across all account activity.

Business Profile Sections

Business Fields are organized into three primary sections within the Business Profile.

General Information & Business Physical Address

These sections contain your core business identity and location details. They should be completed and maintained by a business administrator.

This information may impact:

  • Calendar scheduling

  • Time zone behavior

  • Currency settings

  • Compliance-related processes

Business Information

This section captures formal registration and operational details about your business.

Fields Included

  • Business Type

  • Business Industry

  • Business Registration ID Type

  • Business Registration Number

  • Business Regions of Operations

Authorized Representative

The Authorized Representative is the individual officially designated to represent the business for verification and compliance purposes.

Fields Included

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Representative Email

  • Job Position

  • Phone Number (with country code)

Only one Authorized Representative can be stored at a time. Updating this section replaces the existing representative.
