What an upsell product does in a funnel
An upsell product allows customers to make an additional purchase after the initial checkout using a one-click action that charges the same saved payment method. Upsells and downsells are configured through funnel steps and button actions, not the original checkout form.
Why an upsell product is not appearing in the funnel
An upsell product does not appear when it is not added to the funnel step or the step changes were not saved.
How to fix
Confirm the product is attached to the correct funnel step
Save the funnel step after adding the product
Steps
Open the funnel.
Select the upsell step.
Open the Products tab.
Select the upsell product from the list.
Click Save.
Why the upsell button is not triggering payment
The upsell button does not charge the customer if the button action is not set to a one-click upsell or downsell.
How to fix
Set the button action to One click up/down sell product

Return to the funnel upsell step.
Re-select the product and save.
Why customers are not redirected after purchasing an upsell
Customers are not redirected when the post-purchase action is not configured on the upsell button.
How to fix
Set a post-purchase action such as Go to Next Step
