The Phone Numbers settings allow users to purchase, manage, and organize individual phone numbers and number pools in Kyrios for calling, messaging, and call-tracking purposes.

Who this is for / When to use

This article is for account owners and admins who need to add phone numbers, manage existing numbers, or create number pools for campaign-level call tracking.


What the Phone Numbers settings are

The Phone Numbers section in Kyrios is where all inbound and outbound phone numbers are purchased, configured, organized, and managed. It supports individual numbers for users or workflows, as well as number pools used for advanced call tracking and attribution.


How to add an individual phone number

Adding an individual phone number allows Kyrios to place and receive calls or messages using a dedicated number.

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Phone Numbers.

  2. Click Add Phone Number.

  3. Select your country.

  4. Use filters to narrow results by:

    • Digits or phrases

    • Capabilities (voice, SMS)

    • Number type (local, toll-free)

  5. Select the desired phone number.

  6. Click Proceed to Buy.

Area code availability changes frequently. If a preferred area code is unavailable, Kyrios displays alternative options automatically.


What number pools are

Number pools are collections of phone numbers used to track calls from specific campaigns, pages, or actions. Each number in a pool can be dynamically shown to different visitors, allowing Kyrios to attribute calls to the correct source.

Number pools are commonly used for paid ads, landing pages, and website call tracking.


How number pools work

Number pools display different phone numbers to visitors based on defined rules. Calls made to those numbers are logged and attributed to the correct campaign, page, or traffic source.

Numbers in a pool are only shown on assigned pages and only to users who meet the defined conditions.


How to create a number pool

Creating a number pool allows you to organize and track multiple phone numbers under a single tracking purpose.

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Phone Numbers.

  2. Click Add Number.

  3. Select Add Pool Number.

  4. Enter the number pool details.

  5. Choose what you want to track (campaign, page, source).

  6. Define who should be tracked.

  7. Save the number pool.


Managing numbers inside a pool

Numbers inside a pool can be managed individually without affecting the entire pool.

You can:

  • Move numbers between pools

  • Add new numbers from the general list

  • Remove numbers from a pool without deleting the pool

This allows flexible tracking adjustments without disrupting active campaigns.


How to edit or delete phone numbers

Existing phone numbers can be modified or removed at any time from the Phone Numbers section.

  • Use the Edit icon to update number details or view additional information.

  • Use the Trash icon to delete numbers that are no longer needed.

Deleted numbers are removed from active use and tracking immediately.


Notifications and call tracking behavior

Calls to tracking numbers are always logged in reports. Notifications are only sent to users who have enabled alerts in their personal notification settings.


Common issues and fixes

Desired area code is unavailable

Area codes are subject to availability changes. Select one of the suggested alternatives shown during purchase.

Calls are not notifying users

Verify that the assigned user has call or notification alerts enabled in their notification settings.

Number is not tracking correctly

Confirm the number is assigned to the correct pool and that the pool is linked to the intended page or campaign.
