How to Install the LeadConnector Chrome Extension
After submitting a browser-dependent prompt, Ask AI generates an installation prompt within the chat window.
Locate the Ask AI can control your browser notification box at the bottom of the chat interface.
2. Click Install. The system redirects your browser to the Chrome Web Store listing for LeadConnector - Ask AI.
3. On the Chrome Web Store page, click Add to Chrome.
4. Review the requested permissions in the confirmation pop-up modal.
5. Click Add extension to confirm the installation.
How to Install Directly via the Chrome Web Store
You can install the extension directly without submitting a prompt in Ask AI.
Open your browser and navigate to the official Chrome Web Store listing for LeadConnector - Ask AI.
Click Add to Chrome.
Review the permissions pop-up modal.
Click Add extension.
Common Issues and Fixes
Prompt Does Not Display the Install Button
Cause: The submitted prompt did not require external browser interaction, or the page failed to load completely.
Fix: Reload your account dashboard, navigate to Ask AI, and enter a command that explicitly mentions external browser actions (e.g., "Open Google Docs").
Extension Status Displays Disconnected
Cause: The browser extension is disabled or blocked by browser security settings.
Fix: Open
chrome://extensionsin your browser address bar, locate LeadConnector - Ask AI, ensure the toggle is set to On, and refresh your account tab.
