Ask AI Memory

Ask AI Memory stores reusable context, role details, business preferences, and instructions across Ask AI interactions to personalize future responses.

What Ask AI Memory Does

Ask AI Memory retains context across conversations so Ask AI can tailor future responses without manual re-entry. Memories are scoped to the user ID and can include optional company or location tags. The system retains saved facts in the background and applies them naturally in subsequent conversations without explicit confirmation messages.

Ask AI Memory vs. Other Ask AI Context

Ask AI uses distinct context mechanisms for different tasks. Understanding these differences ensures proper context management.

How Ask AI Saves Memories

Ask AI captures memory automatically during conversations or through explicit user commands.

Automatic Capture

During chat interactions, Ask AI analyzes user input for long-term relevance. If a meaningful, reusable fact is identified (such as a role, target market, or workflow rule), Ask AI saves it as a memory entry in the background. Ask AI automatically skips one-time requests and duplicate information.

Explicit Save Commands

Users can instruct Ask AI to save context directly within a conversation by using commands such as:

  • "Remember that I prefer concise bullet points."

  • "Save to memory that my business operates in Florida."

Memory Scope and Source Types

Every saved memory is tagged with a source type to indicate how the entry was generated. Memory source types include:

  • Auto-created memory: Saved by Ask AI in the background from conversation context.

  • Explicitly saved memory: Stored via direct user prompt commands.

  • Imported memory: Loaded into Kyrios from external AI tools.

  • System-created memory: Configured via system defaults or administrative actions.

Memories are scoped strictly to the individual user ID, maintaining isolated preferences across different user accounts.
