How to Use Ask AI Split View in Kyrios

Ask AI Split View docks the Ask AI panel alongside your workspace so you can interact with page elements and navigate your account simultaneously.

Before You Start

Before activating Split View, ensure you are working within a supported screen in your account:

  • Dashboard

  • Launchpad

  • Calendars

    • Calendar view

    • Appointments

    • Troubleshoot

    • Calendar Settings

    • Preferences

    • Availability

    • Connections

    • Services

    • Rentals

Step 1: Open Ask AI

  1. Navigate to a supported screen in your account, such as Launchpad or Calendars.

  2. Click Ask AI in the top navigation bar or left sidebar menu to open the assistant.

Step 2: Enable Split View

  1. Locate the header bar at the top of the Ask AI panel.

  2. Click Open split view.

  3. The Ask AI window docks to the right side of the screen, resizing the workspace beside it.

Step 3: Work Side by Side

  1. Enter your questions or operational instructions into the Ask AI prompt field.

  2. Click, scroll, or input information directly on the workspace page without minimizing the chat.

  3. Use page element selection or automated page context directly from the docked interface.

Step 4: Return to the Floating Panel

  1. Locate the header bar at the top of the docked Ask AI panel.

  2. Click Close split view to undock the interface and restore the floating modal view.

What Happens When Navigating Unsupported Screens

If you navigate to a page where Split View is unsupported, Ask AI automatically converts to the floating panel layout and hides the docking toggle. Kyrios saves your view setting, and the interface automatically restores to docked Split View when you navigate back to a supported screen.

Common Issues and Fixes

The Open Split View Option Is Not Visible

The current page does not support the docked panel layout. Navigate to a supported account screen such as Launchpad, Dashboard, or Calendars to access the toggle.

Page Elements Cannot Be Clicked

An open dialog modal or unsaved form on the main workspace may block background clicks. Close any open modal windows on the workspace page, then resume interacting with both Ask AI and the host page.

Is Split View required to use page element selection?

No. Page element selection functions in both the docked Split View and the standard floating panel layout whenever an active host page is present.

Does Ask AI maintain page context while docked in Split View?

Yes. Ask AI reads active page context and selected page elements identically in both docked Split View and floating panel mode.

Will closing the browser reset my Split View preference?

No. Kyrios saves your layout preference automatically and re-engages Split View whenever you open Ask AI on a supported screen.
