What a Custom URL Does
A custom calendar URL controls the slug at the end of an Unassigned Calendar booking link.
Example:
/widget/bookings/consultation
The custom part is the slug, such as:
consultation
Use a short, readable slug so the booking link is easy to share in emails, SMS messages, funnels, websites, ads, and chat widgets.
Where the Custom URL Appears
The custom URL may appear anywhere the calendar booking link is shared or embedded. Common places include:
Standalone calendar booking links.
Website or funnel buttons.
Calendar widgets.
Email and SMS calls to action.
Ads or chatbot links.
Changing the custom URL after sharing it may require updating every place where the old link was used.
Create an Unassigned Calendar with a Custom URL
Go to Settings from the left menu.
2. Go to Calendars.
3. Click Create Calendar.
4. Select Unassigned Booking.
5. In Team & Event Setup, enter the calendar name and description.
6. Find the Calendar URL field.
7. Enter the custom slug you want to use.
8. Wait for Kyrios to check whether the slug is available.
9. Click Save after the slug is accepted.
Availability Check Results
Kyrios checks whether the custom calendar URL is available before you save. A green check means the slug is available and can be saved.
A red X means the slug is already taken. Edit the slug and try another version.
Naming Best Practices
Use short, lowercase, readable slugs.
Recommended examples:
demo-call
consultation
nyc-booking
onboarding-call
Avoid spaces, special characters, long phrases, or unclear names.
Common Issues and Fixes
The URL is already taken
Choose a different slug. Add a location, service, or team prefix to make it unique.
Example: demo-call-nyc
The URL does not validate
Remove spaces and special characters. Use lowercase letters and hyphens.
Users cannot edit the calendar
Confirm the user has permission to view and edit Calendars in the account.
The booking link changed after editing the slug
Update the link everywhere it was shared, including websites, funnels, emails, SMS messages, ads, and chat widgets.
